Pre-ordered the 3D Blu-ray steelbook from Zavvi yesterday. Might not even bother seeing this at a theater since there are none left that compare to where I first saw the original movie.

That Target exclusive cover is cool in that it’s mimicking the poster for A New Hope. I might wind up buying the complete saga box set though. Plus I generally don’t buy exclusive releases (prefer packaging to be uniform).

Still getting the Target version, isn't the stuff on the bonus discs usually pretty fluffy?

When it comes to these bonus discs, I don't really care that they're DVDs and not blu-rays. They're usually just a couple of behind-the-scenes things that are nice to have but don't have much replay value.
Really, unless bonus features are nicely produced features, I really don't care if they're in SD or HD.

I’m getting the Zavvi SteelBook 3D. I have all others in 3D, had to finish off. I didn’t care about SteelBook, but I have TLJ, so whatever...

Re: STAR WARS: The Rise Of Skywalker
FWIW, the Target bonus disc for Force Awakens had about 20 minutes of content ("The Scavenger & the Stormtrooper: A Conversation with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega" and "Inside the Armory", both of which were later included in the 3D collector's edtion) and The Last Jedi only had a 6 minute featurette (Meet the Porgs).

Do we have a date? Can we add it to the title?

I'll probably get the Target version with the bonus disc.
My guess is this comes out around March. That Target version will probably be over $30.

No commentary from JJ? I had to double dip TFA to get that one, hope'd I could avoid it here.
But I'm getting the Target exclusive for that cover art.
