When is Kamen Rider coming out (via Media Blasters)?
Everything is kind of being planned around Anime NJ (Dec 15 - 17) & hoping to do a special edition

I was really hoping for an August release, so I’m glad that panned out. Looking forward to seeing some more Toku Time reveals at Otakon next month.

That’s exciting! I hope this doesn’t get in the way of a potential physical release stateside.

Re: Kamen Rider coming to Blu-ray in the U.S.
With this type of nearly worldwide streaming distribution, there will likely be a physical release holdback (including Japan). It wouldn't surprise me if the holdback is 1 year or more.
I think there will eventually will be a physical release here. Having Hideaki Anno as director (Evangelion, Shin Godzilla) should increase the chance of physical release.
Just note this here also, past titles on Amazon Prime Video include:
- Kamen Rider Black Sun - Amazon Riders (Seasons 1 & 2) (no longer streaming; apparently as of April 6, 2023)

Re: Kamen Rider coming to Blu-ray in the U.S.
No corresponding U.S. release yet, but still...!
Plan A was that if there weren't any Kamen Rider announcements from Discotek or Shout Studios during their most recent round that I'd buy this first Kamen Rider UHD collection, despite the eye-watering price tag and lack of English subtitles. I kinda chickened out, but after seeing this, maybe I'll go back on my going-back.

Re: Kamen Rider coming to Blu-ray in the U.S.
Kamen Rider Black RX just showed up in my mailbox today, and here's a quick rundown, as well as some photos and screenshots.
Photos of the packaging:
Screenshots:
4 discs. 47 episodes. 1080p24, aside from some of the interlaced extras. Uncompressed Japanese 2.0 audio. Optional English subs.
All of the extras are on disc 4 and presented in high-def. No surprises this time around, like there was with the Black RX promo on the Kamen Rider Black collection.

Looks great, thanks for the photos Adam! Are there somehow two covers? At first I thought it was just reversible but you show the insides as well.
edited to add: oh, that's a slip with the main form on it.

Re: Kamen Rider coming to Blu-ray in the U.S.
From the other forum:
I just spoke to John Sirabella at Youmacon 2023 in Detroit at the Huntington Place Dealers Room about the Kamen Rider titles that he wants to release like Shin: Kamen Rider Prologue, Kamen Rider ZO, Kamen Rider J, Kamen Rider The First and Kamen Rider The Next.
He basically said that earlier next year in 2024 those titles are coming to bluray via not a box set but single individuals bluray discs instead. He wants to sell them separately.
So that's what he told me.

Re: Kamen Rider coming to Blu-ray in the U.S.
I was feeling ridiculous once more, and I picked up the UHD collection of the first 26 episodes of Kamen Rider -- the most expensive home video release I've bought in the past 25 years! (Most expensive ever, really, but I'm using my first DVD player as a starting point.) This, despite the collection not being the least bit English friendly.
I haven't had a chance to watch any episodes yet, but I did snap some screenshots (with the usual HDR->SDR disclaimer), along with some comparisons of how these same episodes look on shoutfactorytv.com. The forum is smart enough to scale these images down to your display, so you might need to open them in a new window or download them to do a proper comparison in their full 2160p resolution. (I resized the Shout Factory streaming versions to try to get more apples-to-apples.) It's 16mm, so the quality isn't quite as eye-popping as the 35mm movies I posted screenshots of earlier, but the difference is still staggering:

I love it.
I hope Shout releases Kamen Rider 1 eventually, seeing as how it's already subbed.

So hopefully we'll be hearing more about Media Blasters' releases of the '90s films at some point in the next few weeks.

Re: Kamen Rider coming to Blu-ray in the U.S.
TokuSHOUTsu is going to start streaming another Kamen Rider series. We'll know more in a couple of weeks. Hopefully this bodes well for further DVD/Blu-ray releases! (And, selfishly, hopefully it's not Black or Black RX.)

Re: Kamen Rider coming to Blu-ray in the U.S.
The secret Kamen Rider series coming to TokuSHOUTsu may be Geats. At least, a listing for a Blu-ray edition just went up on a Canadian retailer with a long track record of leaking Shout titles, and the UPC corresponds to Shout. If this pans out, it’ll probably be announced very late this month or early next for a May release.

Cover art!
Barnes and Noble lists an April 23rd release date, so maybe we'll get an official announcement tomorrow, since Shout has already done their April solits.

No movies/specials mentioned in the trailer or the listing at shoutfactory.com. Preorders are up now; $79.98 at Shout Factory. Includes a poster.

Re: Kamen Rider coming to Blu-ray in the U.S.
Target added Geats to their B2G1 half off sale but I don't think there's anything else I want for 80 bucks. On a side note, the earlier releases Zero One, Kuuga, and Ryuki are all around 30 bucks and also eligible (Amazon has them but Kuuga wasn't eligible when I looked).

Bit of an update from Media Blasters about their '90s movie collection in YouTube comments:
