re: Looney Tunes Collector’s Choice from Warner Archive
The short answer is no, there is overlap between the Platinum and Golden sets, but both also feature exclusive shorts. I'm not aware of a site with a specific comparison though.

I just hope the low price isn't indicative of it selling poorly and pretty much negating any future volumes.

I think it’s the opposite - it was charting very high in the Amazon sales lists the first few weeks and the studio may have realized that the lower price point for a smaller list of shorts sells better than the big collector’s sets and are trying to push this new way of releasing them. I’m certainly onboard if they keep doing that.

re: Looney Tunes Collector’s Choice from Warner Archive
I finally watched my copy last night. Looks excellent but sound level between shorts is inconsistent. One will be loud the next will be soft forcing you to turn up the volume and then another "loud" one... Is it *that* hard to have consistent audio levels across shorts? And... selecting a single short to view does *not* take you back to the menu when it's finished - the disc does a "Play All" from that short to the end. I call this an authoring error/mistake. There's a "Play All" on the menu so why do they have it authored to do that no matter what you select? And I'll still purchase V2 should they see fit to release one...

How many Looney Tunes were there and how many are still missing on any disc format?

Some of the "unreleased" ones were on old laserdisc sets, if you consider that a "disc format", but don't have a modern restoration on there, obviously.

Volume 2 is up for preorder on Amazon and is already #1 in Comedy and #2 overall.
I think they found a winning formula (can we get the thread title updated to cover the ongoing series of releases?)

Volume 1 was down to $9.99 at Amazon for the last while, and just further dropped to $8.99, in case anyone is still on the fence. I’m confident waiting for Volume 2 as well. Also, unrelated, but the Fleischer Superman set is down to $15.99 for the last week or more (although even at that price I’m hesitant because of the issues).

I'll absolutely be buying this one and any more that come out.
I think I read that there's a podcast with some of these folks and they mentioned that Vol 4 is being discussed, though not confirmed.

Re: Looney Tunes Collector’s Choice from Warner Archive
I've been preordering them and paying full price to support them. Looney Tunes hold a special place in my heart. I've watched them since I was very young on VHS and when ABC would air them on Saturday mornings.
