Given they're firesaleing the new Cameron 4Ks ($12) through this while Amazon is asking $25, I'm sure they'll be happy for Sony to handle distribution moving forward.

Disney is still in charge of their own catalog. Sony will have no say in what gets released or not released. All Sony is taking over are the logistics of disc manufacture and distribution. Disney chooses what to release, Sony puts it on the market for them, that's all. If Disney wants to sit on the Fox catalog until the end of time, that's what they're going to do.

Made three orders last Thursday morning and paid for the highest level of shopping. A week later still no tracking number despite them saying they shipped.

When they do arrive should I ask for a refund and if they refuse go for a chargeback?

Paid $30 total for Rush shipping and am receiving standard shipping quality.

It wasn't for any of the Cameron 4Ks or pre-orders mixed in with regular in stock orders was it?

Nope.

All catalog stuff. I had an order with the Cameron stuff too and the other things in that order already arrived.

Normally expedited shipping with them gets here in 4 days tops.

Looking at that list, and there's really not much on it that interests me. Fight Club, maybe, but that's about it. A few, like Tron or Black Hole or Tombstone that I'd consider if they were dirt cheap, but it's all stuff I either already have on blu-ray or DVD and don't see any need to upgrade, or things I'm not interested in. Which is pretty much the story of my 4K UHD buying patterns.

A new update today indicates while Disney has the final call, Sony may have an active hand in choosing what back catalog titles may see the light of day. Which makes sense, Sony is looking for easy money by leveraging their existing distribution networks handling Disney's catalog. Disney themselves just never cared about exploiting the Fox catalog at all outside of maybe Avatar.

Does Sony have a better track record than Disney for releasing catalog titles on physical media? No, they do not.

Honestly, let's try to keep our heads and be realistic here. Anyone expecting Sony to open the floodgates for Disney and Fox catalog product on Blu-ray and UHD is setting themself up for disappointment.

Still waiting on three orders. Received one order and they put someone else’s stuff in the box. Managed to get a supervisor who confirmed it would get resent including the out of stock titles. Was told to call back when all orders are delivered to get a shipping refund.

Absolutely pathetic prep for this; apparently they have little to no staff and are still taking money for Rush shipping despite no longer prioritizing anything.

The new Disney Plus titles were added today. $45 MSRP, so $99 for all 4 with the current 60% off promotion. A couple of them come with lithographs. Was very surprised to see them added close to the closing of the club.

I saw some reports on Reddit that DMC movies have hit Walmart.

I haven't gotten any of the Disney+ Marvel or SW shows yet. To get all 8 in 4K would come to 170.81 with the B1G1 60% off, averaging 21.35 each. Definitely the best price yet, I wonder if they'll be available for less at some point.

Here's the list: https://www.reddit.com/r/DisneyMovie...es_at_walmart/

It's not any of the yellow border DMC exclusive movie releases (like Parent Trap, Old Yeller, etc.). It's mostly just DMC exclusive slipcovers and repackaging or bundle packaging of existing retail releases (like Peter Pan or Aladdin)
