I just came across this site
http://www.play247.com/
it offers FREE SHIPPING in Europe! and the actual price of the DVD is quite reasonable: TRAFFIC £17.99 (it's all in STG£ though).
I haven't ordered from them yet so there may be some catch I'm not aware of.

You can't go wrong with this site. All discs ship as singles and you get the disc about 4-5 days later except for rc1-discs which need about 10days to be delivered. So that's a good choice! And no traps!

Not all Europe
I tried to order from them too but for some unknown reason they don't ship to all countries in the Europe Union like Israel .
I was disappointed and confused since they do ship to countries that are right next to Israel !
If someone doesn't want to sell then there are many retailers who do , and while they offer free shipping , you can find DVD's at about the same prices elsewhere including shipping .

Hi Gilo and fellow europeans! Play247 ships only to European Union countries, and as far as I know Israel has never been (and I doubt will never be) part of the European Union...
This is taken directly from their website:
And again in their registration form:
Edit:I did notice that they do ship to few european countries which are not part of the European Union...
For anyone interested in da' Union here's a link to a page containing one sorry looking map and heeps of "usefull" info:

I think that other guy was thinking of the Eurovison Song Contest!! Hahaha!
Very funny , you crack me up .
While Israel did participate in the Eurovison song contest ( 2 place from the last and Maccabi Tel-Aviv won the European basket ball campionship for teams ..
I ment Israel is part of Europe as it is in the same trading zone and have low tax and customs , euro as all other countries in the europe ( and not for example U.S.A or Iraq ) !
As for the register note count 0 quated :
Note that we can only accept customers from western Europe
Well Da , so it is not all Europe and since when Greece on western Europe ?
But I'm not bitching anymore cause there are many DVD retailsers and as much as play247 looks nice , the price diffence between them are minimal ..

To tell the truth I am not sure why Israel gets favoured trading status in Europe and personally don't think it is in the spirit of the Union. I also read a report showing that goods from outside of Israel routinely - and with full knowledge of the local authorities - were being routed through that country just to capitalise on the deal, so perhaps someone will cancel it.
Regardless of such anomalies, any e-tailer can specify where it wants to sell its goods/services. Buy.com, for example, along with many U.S. e-tailers, won't ship to Britain (and I presume to Continental Europe). I think it is because they feel less able to combat fraud and/or be certain of the postal service.
Probably Greece is regarded as part of "Western Europe" by that e-tailer simply because it is a part of the EU. To the best of my knowledge Israel is in Asia Minor.
Hope this helps. Happy shopping with play247.com.

Since you're discussing EU: I have problems when ordering from the UK... Norway is a non-EU country, but we have certain "deals" with the EU. Like, in passport controls in England I go through EU-citizens. So, can anyone tell me if Norway is considered EU-country, even though it's not...

They do not ship to Belgium either which is the "Capital" of Europe and just on the other side of the canal. The Belgian customs stops all packages and returns them. Does anyone have an explanation? Both are in the EU and I thought you can pretty much take anything across the border of two EU countries. I guess its not like that, huh.

Belgium
The problem is that belgium customs have a zero tolerance policy. This means that they charge import duties on almost every packages that contains dvds. You can get taxed even if you order only one dvd (taxes almost dubble the price of the dvd itself!!!)!!! There isn't a limit like in the UK (£17.99)...
I think that's why play247 don't ship to belgium anymore: Belgium customs surely wanted to apply taxes on every single dvd play247 shipped to belgian!
Belgium authorities really don't like region 1 dvds. They're illegal expect for personal use. It's even illegal to sell them on local auction sites (it's considered piracy!!!!!).

Still a couple of (well respected) stores in Belgium sell region 1 DVDs.(2 that I know of, but they both charge msrp+ 22% tax+ customs) I can't believe some fools actually buy them!
I just made an order to my summer place in Finland from play247.com and bensonworld.com.
I can't believe it has rained for 4 days straight in here,no pause!(Finland)
I'm glad I've got about 70 unwatched DVDs with me.
