I have just purchased Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon for region1 , i live in a region 2 country,my DVD player is a Pioneer 525 multizone player,should i worry that the movie will not play? or won't i have any problems.

I have a codefree Pioneer 525, no problems with RCE. I suppose there's not that much difference in mods, so you're Ok there.

If you can select the region in the settings menu (like me), you won't have any problems with RCE discs.

If you ever experience probs with this, or other coding:

- Insert a "normal" region 1 disc; one you know plays without problem
- Then insert the RCE disc

Normally, the unit will still be in region 1 mode (the last disc played). This will make a switch unnecessary, and thus cause no errors.

With the same Player, I had no problems while my friend who has a sony player got his machine locked in playing one of the RCE disk.

When i play a region1 or region2 disc the pioneer 525 automatically adjusts the region setting,there are no switches for me to play with or settings in the menu to set.

Pioneer multiregion mods in general are fully capable of RCE playback. Usually it is the Toshibas that can't handle it without some hacking.
