John Woo's The Killer-2 Disc w/Long Version DVD -Help!

OK I am seconds away from ordering this DVD set, BUT I have read that there are French subs that you may or may not be able to turn off. I have the Malata N996 anyone have this or played it and turned off the French Subs to read the English ones??? Or is this version very poor altogether and not worth getting? I can get it for about $24.00 US dollars which is not too bad but will I be able to read the English subs???

Do you own this version? I was told that there are English Subs underneath the French ones and if they can be turned off then you can read the English ones

Hong Kong Legends in the UK now have the rights to The Killer and will be releasing it later this year so it may be worth waiting for that edition.

The long version has burned in English subs - therefore you needn't worry whether your player can turn them on or off

As already mentioned the UK 2 disc set sounds like the best version.

I wonder if it'll bring down the price tag of the criterion on Ebay - the French set already seems to have an impact... Then again theres always 1 muppet or 5 who can't stop bidding silly prices.
