i'm thinking of getting the spanish edition of this as it has a 5.1 soundtrack.. does anyone know if this version is anamorphic?

If you're not too much interested in picture quality, you could also buy the Hong Kong DVD of this movie. That would save you enough to buy the equally brilliant The Nameless, too.

Is the quality of the HK disc really bad? I was thinking about picking it up with my next DDD order.

Although it's non-anamorphic Toot, it really does have a very good transfer. I feel the fact that it's PAL helps it out a lot, as non-ana PAL transfers usual fare a heck of a lot better than non-ana NTSC ones.
