The Gamera Boxsets can be purchased at CDJapan. They are Region 2 and pretty pricey. The 95-99 collection goes for over $200 plus shipping.
ADV has the US DVD rights but they've been sitting on it for EONS.

I'd expect the latest Godzilla film to be out before the end of the year, and hopefully we'll get a subbed Hong Kong edition as with Godzilla X Megaguirus. As for Daimajin, the three films are not really connected aside from the Majin itself, which is a large statue in samurai armor that comes to life when great injustice is being done, essentially. The Majin then goes on the rampage and cleans house. They're pretty cool movies, and if you like the kaiju stuff, you'll probably dig these. ADV Films released these in the US on VHS in subbed editions if you want to sample them before plunking down the cash. I think the initial pressing of the Japanese set came with a Majin figure, if I recall. CD Japan is great place to order from, as mentioned above. That's where I do all my ordering.

DaiMajin discs
FYI, I purchased those import Damajin discs, and the 16x9 picture quality is nothing short of awesome. The subtitle font complements the historical context of these films. The third Daimajin movie is not as good as the first two, but anyone into Samurai or Kaiju will love these Films. Daiei managed to make the Daimajin films full of awe and wonder--with not a digital effect in sight. Unlike the Gamera movies, there is no cheese; everything is dead serious and the films are all the more powerful because of it. And the discs are packed with extras: trailers, behind-the scenes shots, photographs, etc. Highly recommended.

That link only has review for the '65-'80 boxset.
You can get both Gamera boxsets used at animejungle.com. It's only about $35 cheaper than if you get it new at cjapan though, FYI (depending on the shipping method you choose)

Mail-order-wise, www.cdjapan.co.jp is your most convenient retailer and they do carry the titles you are looking for. Their site is in English and easy to navigate. Not so hot is that 1) there is no discount off manufacturer's price; about $40 per single DVD; and 2) pretty steep S&H; about $9 for 2 DVDs, $12 for 4 DVDs to the states.
Amazon.co.jp also have your DVD titles and will ship to states, but its site is not very friendly: Japanese only.
The prices you see on these sites are normal for Japanese DVDs and comparable to what the Japanese consumer pays. I live here in Japan and rarely buy any local DVDs: too expensive and too inconvenient to go to the stores; it's better to rent them from my neiborhood rental stores, but the stores usually only carry Hollywood blockbuster DVDs, not the Daimajin or Gamera small fries. They are however available on rental VHS tapes.
If we want to browse or buy any cult DVD titles, my friends and I would have to take the trains to larger downtown shopping districts like Machida, Yokohama, Akihabara, and Ebina. That costs money in train fare and takes all day. Then, mosts stores don't give any discount (or maybe 3, 5, or 10% on certain titles), just like cdjapan.co.jp. Plus we have to pay 5% consumption tax. Mail-order is not a favorable option, because there is no discount either, plus you cannot escape the tax, and S&H is prohibitively high.
So, here in Japan, there are many thousands of DVDs available; very high quality and variety. But most are way too expensive for the average Japanese. I think only rich people can afford them! Plus the majority do not have English subtitles. But if you really like to acquire Daimajin & Gamera, please try cdjapan.co.jp. If you don't have so much money, then maybe I would try something else made-in-America, less expensive but more for your money, from say, DEEPDISCOUNTDVD.com. Shipping is free there, too! Maybe we all can petition Anchorbay to acquire the titles for the states! I love their Hammer & Italian horror titles. Bring them on!

GMK comes out on Japanese DVD this summer, but it will most likely have no English subtitles. Toho never subtitles their DVDs (well, Japanese subs only).
I've never bought Japanese DVDs before because they're so expensive. I usually wait until a HK company picks it up. But at this point I've already given up all hope of ADV ever releasing the Gamera trilogy in the US so I finally picked up a copy of the 1995-1999 boxset. It's the single most expensive DVD purchase I ever made. My first and my last!
The quality is incredible though. The anamorphic picture and 5.1 soundtrack is just as good as any recent US region 1 disc. The subtitles are perfect, completely error free. The only complaint I have is the lack of English subtitles on the 2 extra discs. The special effects disc is pretty disappointing since 90% of it consists of two guys talking in a white room (Shinji Higuchi the SFX director and the interviewer), with only a few seconds of behind-the-scene footage shown. I got more info on the making of the Gamera trilogy reading a limited edition Japanese booklet than from the disc!
