Clear and Present Danger, The Hunt for Red October, and Patriot Games were all just rereleased in R1 in Anamorphic Widescreen. (with DTS too!)

I just found out that the Swedish version of Liar Liar is the same as the r4 Australian one, so buy that if you want an English cover.

Beautiful Girls is listed as being anamorphic in R2 / UK here, but that shouldn't really be considered definitive. Any particular reason why only Spain is listed in the list? Any UK people out there have this disc and can tell us about the transfer?

I checked cdwow and they confirm the anamorphic transfer! Thanks for poiting it out.

I didn't add Almost Pregnant due to the fact it is not even available here in R1.

I also removed the Al Pacino flick (People I Know) for the same reason.

I also removed Scarface due to its release due in September here in R1.

As far as Liar Liar goes, it is available here in Region 1 as DTS (full frame however).

I own the UK Reg 2 of Beautiful Girls. Not only is it anamorphic, but it also has DD 5.1

Technically, I would say no, because given that it is 16:9 here in the US (regardless of correct OAR), it is still 16:9.

The Hunted 16/9, DTS, R3 HK from EDKO Video. And on Red Dragon , both the R4 and UK R2 feature a DTS track also...
