And some censor cuts from the videonazis!
Fudoh censored
They've already chopped 195 seconds from his Ichi The Killer censored
I'll be sticking with my Region 1 Fudoh and Dutch Ichi.

Not seen those and there's not a lot of information on them either.
All I've read about them is from 90s' UK film books and all three sound very interesting. Some info on Rainy Dog here, Ley lines here -you can find lots more on Shinjuku Triad Society if you look. These three films (his first three I think) seem to be his 'Taiwan mafia trilogy'. Don't know if that's correct as there's so much info out there.
The Miike film I'd like to see is The Bird People of China/Chuugoku no chôjin which deals with learning people how to fly -sounds amazing

SHINJUKU TRIAD SOCIETY, RAINY DOG and LEY LINES do form a trilogy, but they aren't Miike's first films. Click here for a filmography:

I've been told and read it's definitely uncut.
Obviously it's difficult to tell unless somebody has great knowledge of these rather rare films. I'd assume the North American distributor would use the Japanese print (would be cheaper too) -which should be as full as is available. It's only when we let out nazi-style censors (which we just removed from Iraq -with the blood of our young soldiers) at the MPAA and BBFC pass their disgusting eye over these films and decide what we should watch that we may end up with cut films.
I'll go with it being uncut for now.

Will these films be uncut? where can I do the preorder
They have been certificated but the artwork (which gets censored too in the UK) hasn't been passed yet. It's only listed in a few places so I guess you'll have to wait to preorder it. Keep an eye on it appearing @ www.bbfc.co.uk before you order it -that'll give information on any cuts.
Bah, I hate British censorship. Can't the people do anything about that over there?
Regime change?
