i bought a UK copy a few years ago with English subs, 1:78 anamorphic. Not the greatest PQ, but more than watchable. In fact, amazon.uk is selling 2 versions right now: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mediterraneo...0443700&sr=8-1 and http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mediterraneo...0443860&sr=8-2
I own the second one, but the first seems to be a newer version from Optimum, who usually does a good job with their titles.

are people really that lazy that a google search is too much trouble. if you are going to bump a thread that is over 5 years old a little work would have been appreciated. the optimum release was discussed here when it came out and I believe Pro-B had a dedicated thread about the optimum release. What is going on in this forum? people want everything handed to them.

wow... that's a very old thread!!!
I found a region 4 long time ago at ezydvd.com.au (OOP since) they have a new version, but it would cost more than the ones sold at amazon.co.uk

The googling, as a specific mental activity, works like that:
1. You know the dudes at DVDTalk might know something, there's a subforum for international titles.
2. You know that searching is always preferable to posting a new thread about a subject.
3. Search for relevant topics. Find them
4. Pick thread which seems the closest, esp. where your exact question was asked years ago. Bump it.
5. Get criticized for being lazy and not searching.
6. Enjoy the feeling.
