Giles, what would you like to see or what have you seen that you like? We'll need a little more info to help you fill up your queue. Or if you are completely blank, fill your queue using 5 films from each of the top ten list they have there from each section.

Giles, thats a pretty long queue you got there. Majority of my rentals are Asian related so I'm not familiar with many of what's on your list. Of the ones I recognize, Ju-on is definitely creepy, and Zatoichi is worth watching. It's not on your list but I find Ju-on the sequel to be a disappointment (something to consider). You won't be zipping through your queue like with Netflix due to Nicheflix's single distribution center so that will last a while.

Giles,

that is a very solid list you have, I would move up La Haine. I still have not seen Lost Highway, but I receiving this one soon. Which version of Hole is it on your list? Kopps is hilarious, Rosetta brilliant, and F***ing Amal is excellent. I am looking forward to see Samaria tonight as I received this and Oldboy yesterday.

Cheers and happy viewing.

DVD Smurf

PS. Let me know how Undead was, as I am thinking of getting it.

Just got done watching Hero DTS, and was very impressed with the movie. If your a Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon fan you will love this movie. The cinematography is absolutely breathtaking combined with the Chinese music and bass throughout the movie.
Funny that it will be getting a limited theatrical release here in the States 2 years after it has been out.

wow, thanks pro-bassoonist, your list of twenty two films is exactly the type of films I want to rent. also thanks to DVD Smurf and Trencher.

On a side note, I absolutely loved (loved) "Save the Green Planet" what a wonderfully weird, amazing film.

went ahead and bought the DTS Reg. 2 edition of "Aliens" from DVDetective which I watched last night - talked about an improvement over older editions, gone is the graininess, and fantastic, enveloping 5.1 sound mix.

Fans of asian cinema should should out the online rental site eHit.com. I believe that it is a DVDtalk.com affiliate. I've been a member of both it and Nicheflix for a while now and love both.

I'd recommend the R2 versions of Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring, and Cross of Iron.
