Flash Gordon 1980?
I'm getting tired of waiting for Universal to release a decent edition of this in the States...
Is there a good edition of this somewhere else? (With anamorphic video, decent picture/sound, and maybe some extras?)

The picture was O.K. but had some flaws at the beginning like some color bleed.
Click here for a review of the region 4.
R2 picture quality might be the same?, but at least you get a few small extras. R1 should hopefully be out soon, I know I’m waiting still for a proper release similar to the R2 French disc.

If you have a region free player then why not just pick-up the R2 French version? (Is it out of print?) I have this version and love it completely! I know the forced subs have been discussed but on my Toshiba I have been able to remove them.
