Just a personnel preference only, plus if I ordered this a broad it would cost me heaps in postage for some think Ezydvd has made for this DVD.

I do own the Edward Scissorhands Steel case and think that is great, but the Ezydvd case is nothing special for me and it does not feel and look the same quality.

tin is pretty nice. comes with the keepcase inside (no slipcover). the title and River are embossed/slightly elevated from the tin...very nicely done. the tin itself is kinda flimsy, but not too bad.

Woo hoo! Got mine. Beautiful tin and the cover art is reversable.

EzyDVD is the only place that this tin can be purchased. And it was only $2 more to get the premium package.

i believe they are sold out now so it may not be possible to get the tin anymore except in the secondary market

I should have said that the artwork for the actual keepcase is reversable since the discs come housed in keepcase.

Great... I decided to go with the "autographed" slipcover that JB Hi-fi is offering. After they refused my credit card because somehow their verification system kept getting SQL timeout errors, I finally got it to go through. Then, the order simply vanished from my status page earlier this week. I e-mailed them, and apparently it just completely disappeared into thin air, and their tech team now has to try to figure out what the problem is. Not a good first impression, but we'll see how this works out.

Sorry to hear it. The B&M stores are usually my first stop for DVDs and are routinely one of the cheapest.

I got my copy. The tin looks shiny, but the second disc only has around thirty minutes (give or take) of additional features.

There's only four extended scenes, and if you saw one of the first two special advance sneaks back in May of 2005, you've seen some of them. I was just hoping some of the violenter footage would've been included in the extended features.

Matthew, I have mine too. I believe the Australian Q&A with Joss Whedon is 55 minutes alone!

The other features are short, true - 4-5 minutes for each of the two featurettes. But the "filmmaker's journey" added to disc one adds another 20 minutes to the total.

Oh really? I didn't look at most of the filmmaker's Q+A, and the total running time of film + extras is 188 minutes (according to the cover) so it was a complete guesstimate.

I still don't know. Despite adding more extras, I feel that "stuff" is missing from this release as well. Neither the R1 or the R4 include the "Sci-Fi" promotional show nor any featurettes on the film's "weird" marketing campaign (which there was a featurette on the bonus disc that came with the UK version of BSG:S1 at Best Buy). That and I still want the violenter footage that was trimmed to make a PG-13.

Eh.

Well, they fixed the problem and my order shipped! Can't wait to get my hands on it. I never actually got to see it in theaters, so I'm really looking forward to this.

Not as long as I can flip the cover and have the side without the ratings classification facing out. Which I can with this release. Of course, now I see the ratings classification when I open up the clear case and pull out the DVD.

I'm hoping to have mine tomorrow. Having it delivered to work.

I ordered both the tin and the limited slipcase version. Looking forward to seeing this as well, as I missed this in the theaters!
