Actually almost everything is in Korean except the original title (in small print just above Special Edition) in Japanese.

The white text is in Korean, the red is the movie title in Japanese, and the "Special Edition" term is used internationally. So there is nothing weird about it

I think I'll order that Howl's Moving Castle box just to spite my wife, who hated the movie.

Any idea what the special features are or whether they're subtitled in English?

according to dvdactive:

Hayao Miyazaki’s latest dazzling title Howl’s Moving Castle arrives on a gorgeous South Korean three disc limited edition on December 23rd. The film will be presented in an anamorphic widescreen format with Japanese audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS-ES. An optional Korean dub and English subtitles will be provided. Supplementary materials include an interview with Suzuki Toshio, picture gallery, Japanese and Korean trailers, "Howl Around the World" featurette, interview with author Diana Jones, interview with English dub director Peter Docter, synopsis information, character biographies, staff information, Korean dubbing scenes, "Hayao Miyazaki visits Pixar" featurette, explanation from the CGI director Katama Mitsunori, trailers and coming attractions. In addition, bonus gifts include a post card set, phone strip, 20 page booklet and film cut.

Almost the same as the Japanese R2, but missing a few things,
and its highly highly unlikely there are any English subs on the extras

That would be too easy! Besides, limited are "limited" ...

Though, to be fair, PM me if you are interested in finding out about a forum dedicated to limited editions that would help your search.

looks pretty interesting. I wish I could've found a better picture.
I've only seen it at sensasian.com, for $45.
I would really really like to see this movie, but I don't know if I'm going to shell out the money for this version. Even though it's a pretty good deal (seems like).

But the thread is "coolest looking non R1 DVDs" not "limited, OOP non R1 DVDs."
