1. I am not aware exactly how the two sets differ! From what I was told on the phone it appears that ALL faulty sets have been recalled from the major vendors. Bensons are 100% selling the new set.
2. I would think that another week to have Amazon.UK in the "safe" category will be enough.
3. If posts 1 and 2 above still leave some doubt in you I would contact the vendor of your choice and make sure that indeed you will be getting a set from the new stock.
This really is as much as I could suggest at this point given that there is absolutely nothing more that I could do or guarantee without sounding stupid.
