It supposed the be The Hulk, dammit! And it was supposed to the The Batman too, but everyone got that wrong as well. ![Pttth](/images/smilies/tongueold.gif)
(I'm guessing that if there is a sequel it will be called The Incredible Hulk, just like we're getting The Amazing Spider-man next year. Hmmm Marvel really liked their adjectives)

The only place i ever see it referred to as "HULK" is where the large name appears on the posters. This could just be for design reasons because it looks cleaner and cooler to just have a big fat "HULK" across the poster instead of trying to fit a 'the' in somewhere.
Every reference to it on the official site (thehulk.com or hulkthemovie.com) is as 'The Hulk', even this one: "The Hulk and related comic book characters TM 2003 Marvel Characters Inc." - you'd think in the trademark statement they would get it right...
