Tomorrow, June 6th. Just as a disclaimer, it's possible that certain IMAX theaters may start showing it at a later date, so if you're interested in seeing it, call the local IMAX theater(s) or check Fandango.com, Moviefone.com, or Movietickets.com. I know for a fact that Fandango has a separate listing for the IMAX version of Reloaded.

I saw it in Tampa today. It didn't fill the entire screen, bit it surely was big, and CRISP. It actually looked better than when I saw EP2 in DLP (which was strangely blurry). The theater wasn't very full at all, but when we were picking up our tickets, the lady behind the counter picked up two back to back calls asking when it was playing, so the later shows may have been busier.

WOo HOO!!

Just got back from the showing at the Lowes. In one word, incredible!

The picture was so crisp and lifelike, and the sound was so heavy and loud and clear, it was amazing. I went to the 7:15 showing, which was sold out before we got there (The theatre holds about 650), but because people didn't like sitting at the front row, some people returned the tickets and me and my friends bought the tickets off of them...

Luckily we got good seats (seperate from each other), and it was amazing. They even had the Revolutions trailer at the end, which looked and sounded just as great.

I'm going back there for opening day of Revolutions. Forget the regular theatre, this is the way to experience this movie. It truly is THE IMAX EXPERIENCE.

And it seems they didn't Pan and Scan the movie at all. From what I could tell they kept the 2.35:1 OAR, with black bars on the bottom and the top of the screen.

The IMAX Reloaded does look very good. You could literally see pores in the actors faces it was so clear. Add to that the sound quality in the IMAX theater, and you've got a real winner. If you are going to see the movie another time, and it is available on IMAX near you, pay the difference to see it IMAX.

I'm not sure, the Revolutions trailer looked like 2.35:1 while the rest of the movie didn't.

Well, you can see pores on DVD. I think the difference was the number of pores you could see. Woah!
