Why oh why does everyone seem to think this film is one of the best of 2003.

Is it just my Wife and me that felt that this was one on the most boring and mind numbing films we have ever seen.

I can't believe anyone associated with this film would be remotely considered for an Oscar.

Here's one of the many Lost in Translation threads that have already been started.

If you want a quick recap, it's simple. Some people liked the movie. Some people didn't like the movie. Kinda cool how opinions work Personally I enjoyed it. Don't know if I'd say best of the year, but it was definately a highlight.
