Any guy that yells "Of course they deserved to die, and I hope they burn in Hell!" is waaay cool in my book.

I went with Travolta solely because of the "at their COOLEST" criteria. Travolta has put out a lot of shit since his heyday, but I think he was at a level Jackson hasn't reached yet, and probably never will.

I'd have to go with Sam Jackson as well. He doesn't act much differently between roles, but he's definately cool.

Exactly. I'd say 364 days a year Sam is the man. But at their coolest... gotta give it to Travolta.

After seeing the trailer for Snakes on a Plane I want to rescind my vote for Travolta and offer my sincere apology to Mr. Jackson for ever doubting his coolness.

Even at his "coolest" level, Travolta is a Scientologist. 'Nuff said. Point: Jackson.

Were you children even alive during the years 1975 through 1978?

Between "Welcome Back, Kotter" and the "one-two" punch of "Saturday Night Fever" and "Grease," no one on the planet was cooler than John Travolta.

Sam Jackson has yet to achieve that level of global superstardom.

Sorry, but the girlfriend's right. Travolta - ALL. THE. WAY.

Besides, the coolest point in all of "Pulp Fiction" is not the faux Bible verse screamed by Jackson, it's when Travolta takes off his shoes and soft-shuffles those retro 60's dance moves.

Shivers. That scene brings the shivers.

Samuel Jackson = Mace Windu

Game, set and match Grunty.

And ...

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

I'd have to give you Saturday Night Fever and Grease as being cool. He wasn't cool 'til Pulp Fiction. He was a joke before then.

Welcome Back Kotter had some cool.

Yuh. The only jedi with a PURPLE lightsaber - which, all by itself, sets him miles back in the coolness race.

I bet Mace lets Sy "snootle" him when Yoda's back is turned. The pervy, bald jedi with the "faaaaabulous" lightsaber . . .
