If there is any dog-fucking or robot scrotum "jokes", I'd join you. But since there won't be, it's automatically a better movie. Also I'm assuming it will be edited.

Larry Hama Quote:
I saw a version about two and a half weeks ago [the interview was conducted July 17]. The day I saw it they were still re-shooting some stuff. The version I saw was 15-20 minutes shorter than a version I saw previously. Over 95% of the effects were done. I thought that last version was really tight and excited. I was very pleased. As for the fans, I think it’s the same thing that happened with “Transformers.” The fan base anticipates it’s going to suck. That’s what they did with “Transformers” right up until day it opened. I always tell the fans, “How can you be so anal retentive about continuity and a universe that was pretty much done on the fly as it went along?” If something didn’t work in the comics I just changed it. I created the universe and I’m OK with it.

Knowing all of the above ISN'T in the film, plus seeing all the latest trailers and tv spots has me extremely pumped now to see the film.

I saw it tonight at a screening for my company. I enjoyed it and most of the people that I went with liked it as well. It isn't a masterpiece by any measure, but was fun and better than I thought it was going to be.
^It is definitely setup for a sequel.

Or robot testicles, or a robot crying, or a robot humping. And there shouldn't be any unfunny pot brownie jokes involving someone's mom.

Lately, I've been judging summer movies by how many times I rolled my eyes. Of course after Revenge of the Fallen, I may have to rethink that. My eyes never stopped rolling during that piece of shit. G.I. Joe cannot possibly be worse.

Let's hope so. The whole
thing was ridiculous. I think it made me long for the Cobra-La version of things from the 1987 cartoon.
Also, get rid of
