Hey. I didn't like the first one, and loved this, though I'm bummed now that I didn't stay past the credits, though I'll see it again sometime. I'm not sure how to say this best, but it was like Borat for potheads, the film got to deal with a lot of important issues of (America) today and not just make fun of them, but show the ludicrousness that's out there. This review missed a lot, big time.

I, personally, loved the first one. At that point, I couldn't recall laughing more at a film...
However, this one just felt flat. Maybe it was the fact that I had just seen "Baby Mama" (a truly terrible movie). Maybe it was Rob Cordry. Or, maybe, it was that the writing simply wasn't as sharp or witty as the original.
I don't know. I was disappointed.

I saw the first one in the theaters. I didn't know what to expect but I was laughing hysterically at most of the movie. And I don't smoke pot. But the trailers for the sequel haven't gotten me excited to see it in the theater. I might just rent it when it comes out on DVD or Tivo.

I saw it today and thought it was hilarious. Should have checked this thread to get the info that there was an extra scene after the credits

I saw it a couple of weeks ago. It was funny, but to me it didn't match the original. Had a lot of great bits and one of the best comedies I've seen in awhile.
Wish Chris Maloni was in it for a little longer, though.

this was not a good movie at all. even as a standalone comedy i thought it was bad. the original i loved and thought was very funny. not one joke really worked for me in this. sorry to say too.

I'm surprised this didn't do better at the theaters given the cult status of the first one.
I'll probably pick up the Unrated DVD. It wasn't the first one, but still very good.

I found this one to be pretty damn funny. Like most of the others have said, not as good as the first but still a solid flick.

A few funny moments ruined by an incredibly lazy shift towards potty humor. This movie was gawd awful. Porky's was funny when I was 15. Guess there will always be movies geared towards kids that age. Can't see how anyone out of their teens could be into this.

STAY for the scene after the end credits. Trust me.

Spoiler:
Would it be too much to ask what the Raza scene you saw was? (under spoiler tags, of course)
EDIT: I now understand that you didn't mean that Raza had a scene after the end credits. Check.

I didn't stay for the credits and as such, didn't know about NPH's ressurection. That fixes my one major beef with the film (no NPH for the third).
Sure, it was nowhere near as good as the first, but it's worth it for the Shrooms/Bush scenes alone. That and Christopher Meloni's short (but brilliant) cameo. "What the *********** was that?"
I think the DVD will also be worth the price due to this branching scene/choose your own adventure option that apparently changes the course of the entire movie. Little ridiculous touches like that are always appreciated.
