Very suprising when a young person like that kicks it. I checked her IMDB page to see where I've seen her and they already have the date of death. It was listed as cardiac arrest. If it really was natural she must have had a serious defect in the heart. Most likely drug related though unfortunately

Not to mention he was probably strung out on the same shit that she was, but yeah, I think the point was more of a "how does a guy that looks like this score with someone who looked like Murphy" sort of thing.

Brittany Murphy's Husband Doesn't Want Autopsy

Brittany Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack, told hospital staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center he did not want an autopsy performed on his deceased wife, multiple sources tell TMZ.
We're told, however, despite Monjack's wishes, the L.A. County Coroner's office will perform an autopsy on Murphy. As we first reported, Murphy went into cardiac arrest this morning and could not be revived.
TMZ has also learned Britney Murphy's mother, who found Murphy unconscious in the shower and called 911, told paramedics her daughter had a history of diabetes. We have not been able to confirm if Murphy did indeed have diabetes, and if so, whether it contributed to her death.

Wow. I loved her in "Clueless". I saw her in "Dead Girl" earlier this year and also thought she was great in that. 
Her life did seem a bit crazy for a while there. I hope you're at peace now Brittany....

I always liked her. She was amazingly talented, and I expected more great things from her in the future. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Man, didn't see that coming. I have seen her in the Boy Meets World, King of the Hill, 8 Mile, Don't Say A Word. She was a very beautiful and talented actress. She will be missed.

That can't be her husband right? Please tell me that guy can't get that girl. Please tell me that's her bodyguard or something.
Back in 2001-02, she was my IT girl. Great body, cute as hell, likes hockey I believe.
But damn did she fall off the map. Became a stick figure and got a rep of being crazy and a cokehead.
I want to feel bad but if she died of a cocaine overdose, I really can't.
Such a waste of talent.

I always liked her, always thought her being erratic was an act she was doing, to get these roles. I recall all the critics praising her in that Michael Douglas film Dont Say A Word which really put her on the map. I always thought if we were to lose a young actress soon, it would have been Lindsay Lohan or Natssha Lyonne, as their problems are very public. RIP.

Much like the impression she left on me in Clueless, I had no idea she was in Sin City.
But like I said she was amazing when I met her. Never seemed like a celebrity to me, (helped that I didn't really know her). She ate lunch with the staff and even gave my girl some of her favorite make-up products to try. This was about 5 years ago, & we spent about 6 hours total with her I would never assume she was on drugs. She didn't look it or act weird at all, she was very bubbly & polite. I wasn't aware she had a drug problem until reading this thread.

RIP Brittany.
I don't get it, she was so cute and then she had to lose all that weight and get unhealthily skinny. I think you're right; low body mass and drugs don't mix.
