For those that believe this is just a case of a young woman dying of "natural causes" and she had no drug history, what would be your reaction if someone you loved was found passed out on the floor?

a) Check for a pulse and try to perform CPR

b) Try to revive them in the shower

b is the answer only if you know the victim is a drug abuser and has ODd.

No, a would be your answer if you didn't find a pulse, regardless of their history. You want to throw someone in the shower hoping to jump-start their heart?

Not sure why people are still so focused on this "natural causes" preliminary find. She wasn't shot, hit by a bus or drowned. She suffered cardiac arrest. The autopsy has been performed and the findings are weeks away. There's a strong possibility there were contributing factors to her arresting.

Thats alot of presciption meds for one person. What doctor in there right mind would prescribe all those. Guess the doctor knows better than me, though.

But, yes, I'm sure it was a "drug cocktail" that did her in. We'll know for sure soon enough. I, too, was amazed to see how much of a fat slob her husband is.

Look in the bottom pic. He has a white t-shirt on under his polo shirt. What are the chances a woman with the exact hair, build, skin color and sideburns as her husband is going to be talking to Murphy at an airline inspection line.

A lot of people I know, including my parents, were quite disturbed by her death. It's a shame she died never realizing just how many people did admire her work and thought she had talent. I would never call her a great actress, but she seemed like somebody with lots of potential if she could just find that one role.

Who Is Brittany Murphy's Husband?

Brittany Murphy's husband, Brit screenwriter Simon Monjack, has been thrust into the spotlight since his wife's shocking Dec. 20 death.

Below, what UsMagazine.com has learned about the 38-year-old Brit:

1. He's Been Friends With Brittany Since She Was 17 But they didn't wed until 2007 -- after her two failed engagements to best-boy grip Joe Macaluso and talent agent Jeff Kwatinetz and a seven-month romance with Ashton Kutcher.

2. His nickname to some is "Conjack" He started out directing commercials and later went on to work as a director and screenwriter. But Vanity Fair points out "his most significant credit to date is contributing story material" to the 2006 Edie Sedgwick bio Factory Girl. The film's director George Hickenlooper has accused Monjack -- dubbed "Conjack" by some associates who accuse him of shady business dealings -- of improperly suing to get an executive producer credit on the film, which Hickenlooper alleges Monjack then used to scam his way into other productions. Hickenlooper recently blogged (according to VF): "He is a con man and a bad guy. When Brittany married him I warned her and warned her as did so many others. I only hope to God that this creep wasn't instrumental in her sad sad demise."

3. He was evicted According to New York's Daily News, there was a big income disparity between Murphy and Monjack. While she was paid $4 million for 2004's Little Black Book, he encountered numerous financial woes (he was once reportedly sued by a mortgage company for $470,000 and evicted from his residence).

4. He was "incoherent," hospitalized a month before Brittany's death In November, he was rushed to a L.A. hospital after reportedly becoming incoherent during a flight from Puerto Rico (where he was accused of causing problems on the set of one of Murphy's former films, which they denied). Murphy had said he was treated for asthma.

5. He frantically tried to save her life After Murphy was found "unresponsive" on her bathroom floor Dec. 20, Monjack, who was in bed, ran to the bathroom, according to notes from an investigator with the Los Angeles coroner's office. He "attempted to revive the descendent by placing her in the shower and running the water."

6. He initially didn't want an autopsy performed He has said it was because he "couldn't bear" the idea of his wife being cut open. (An autopsy was performed Monday, but toxicology results could take up to six weeks to be final.)

7. He insists they were in love "We found love," he told Access Hollywood Monday. "Brittany didn't get to where Brittany was with anyone controlling her."

Brittany Murphy's sudden death came as little surprise to those familiar with the "Clueless" star's ugly, drug-fueled descent over the past few years.A Hollywood insider told The Post yesterday that substance abuse and oddball behavior had sadly become par for the course for the once-promising "8 Mile" and "King of the Hill" star, who went into cardiac arrest and died Sunday at her home.

Her death at age 32 "wasn't a surprise" at all, the source told said. "I'm not psychic, and I could have predicted it. One filmmaking executive told the Web site The Daily Beast that Murphy's hard-partying reputation was similar to that of actress Lindsay Lohan. "This is like Lindsay Lohan dying," the studio suit said. "It really doesn't come, unfortunately, as a shock."

A makeup artist said Murphy dabbled too much in heroin and cocaine and referred to the star's reputed eating disorder, which left her shockingly skinny toward the end. "She had too many drugs and too little food," the makeup artist said.TMZ, citing notes from an investigator with the coroner's office, said there were "large amounts of prescription medication" on her bedroom nightstand -- and empty med bottles in the names of her husband, mother "and unidentified 3rd-party names." They included anti-seizure drugs, an anti-inflammatory, Prozac, anti-anxiety meds, an antibiotic and painkillers Vicobrofen and Hydrocodone.

According to the notes, mom Sharon Murphy called 911 and *** Brittany's husband -- screenwriter Simon Monjack -- "attempted to revive the decedent by placing her in the shower and running the water."*** "The decedent remained unresponsive and purged her stomach contents prior to the arrival of the paramedics."When they arrived, Murphy was "without signs of life."Paramedics tried to revive Murphy at her Hollywood Hills home before she was pronounced dead at nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday.

"Clueless" director Amy Heckerling -- who had once been close with Murphy but admitted she'd fallen out of touch with her -- said "there's been rumblings" that the troubled star had been having problems. "It's a small town to a certain degree -- people who know people on crews said that her last picture, that wasn't a happy situation," Heckerling said."There have been rumblings that she's not the same girl I worked with -- as for her health -- for a while. Obviously, I can't say that I know this for sure. But when you hear of a 32-year-old girl dying of natural causes, then you know, health-wise, she just wasn't in the same place."

Ed Winter, of the LA coroner's office, said its probe was just beginning -- but conceded that he had heard the same whispers of drug abuse.Still, no on-the-record sources have come forward to tell coroner's investigators that Murphy did illicit drugs, Winter said. "They've been saying that there were issues, but we haven't had it firsthand yet," he said. "We're trying to gather all the information."

TMZ said last night that Murphy's will, written before she met Monjack, leaves everything to her mother. It wasn't known if the star amended the will after marrying.
