I just want to see the edition size. Bets?
500?
1000?
10,000?
Some poor screenprinter better pray tonight. I bet this has the largest run of a "limited" item ever.
Which is why I'm not buying it

Moss Batman is gonna have a huge print run. It seems like the e-bayers will most likely stay clear from this one. I have no idea how much though. 5,000?

Pretty sure D&L will be printing it. I'm sure they can handle the run whatever it ends up being. I'll say 2,700.

I wonder how many people will buy the Dark Knight Rises poster just for a chance at getting the "golden ticket".
From the Mondo blog:
"One last thing, Olly has decided that he wants to give fans a special treat. When you buy a poster, you will have the chance to receive a GOLDEN TICKET. It will be randomly inserted into a poster tube and with this ticket, you will be able to have Olly do a poster for you. That’s right…. pretty much whatever you want. Like, if you want a SPLASH poster or something…. I’m sure he’ll be down. All I’m saying is that this is your chance to get the Olly piece that you’d always wish he would do. Pretty cool, right?"

I think this is one of Olly's weaker prints, mostly because of the eyes on the mask. However, the chance of winning the golden ticket...

I was on the fence about it. I normally prefer the 24"x36" posters over the ones that are 16"x24". I can see why some people might not care for the eyes, but I like the overall design. I couldn't resist the chance at the golden ticket though, so I placed an order this morning.

I pulled the trigger. It doesn't really match anything in my collection and isn't my favorite Olly Moss but it might be my only chance to add one of his pieces to my puzzle.

Mondo News twitter:
I'm gonna pick this up for $15 on eBay!
Looks like the Olly Moss THE DARK KNIGHT RISES poster will be an edition of 9,350. Thanks everyone!

I sat out Olly's release yesterday and bought this first licensed First Blood poster instead: http://threebarrels.bigcartel.com/pr...anthony-petrie

So, for some of you hardcore print enthusiasts, is there a good place to sell some of my prints outside of ebay? Not really looking forward to selling them, but right now I could use the cash over unframed rolled-up prints.
And if this is against forum rules, I will delete this post.
Oh, and these are actually mostly Rhys Cooper and Tim Doyle prints from earlier last year.

I found a dealer online who has a couple of Mondo prints I'm interested in, including the Hellraiser "Mystery Movie" print from the screening at the New Beverly last fall. I think I read that tickets to the event were $65-$75, so would paying more than that be a "sucker" price?

This will give you a good idea of market value as it tracks in chart form sales of the print. Additionally you can use the tabs on that page to check out the price history to see specifics on what the print has been going for. It'll at least give you an idea of what the current price is trending towards.
