Think I'm going to do a double feature with this and The Nice Guys over the weekend. Looks like it could be okay and I like the first film for what it is.

I thought Neighbors 2 was mostly a miss. The first one was unexpectedly hilarious, but this one fell flat.

Just got out of seeing it. Thought it was awful. Just dumb all around and repeating itself from the first movie except with Rogen and Byrne battling annoying girls. Efron didn't even really need to be in it. He felt tacked on. Skip it.

Saw it yesterday. Pretty much agree that it's a pointless re-hash overall. They really decided to up the bar on gross humor this time around. Shame that this is what audiences want in the summer and not something like the Nice Guys.

It definitely wasn't anywhere near as good as the first and felt like a re-tread but still had some funny moments. The movie had to be under 90 minutes which really pissed me off though.

It's listed at 92 minutes, which only makes it 5 minutes shorter than the first one.

Just got out of it around fifteen minutes ago. It wasn't bad but not as good as the first. Sort of thought the joke about Rogen and Byrne being bad parents got old after a while. Moretz was a good addition and I liked Efron.
Not sure why but it felt really short to me even though clearly the run times aren't that different. I think it felt like more happened in the first film whereas with this one there are quite a few jokes that play out longer.

Yet folks here will still buy it Black Friday on discount because they are completists.

I didn't hate it as much as most did but yeah definitely inferior to the first film.
