Shu Qi. Only known in the US for The Transporter, but has won the Golden Horse, the equivalent of an Academy Award for Best Actress.

I love Milla, and I think she's actually a pretty good actress, but I really wish should have chosen her roles more judiciously because she has been in a ton of really bad movies

Yeah. She's actually a pretty solid actor. Does she have a lot of bills to play or something? I'm actually more interested in her not doing something actiony nowadays. Good or bad... at least it gives her variety.

We're seemingly conditioned to think of actors as somehow "better" than, when roles in bad films are concerned. And, for some, I'm sure that they strive to maintain this air of apparent superiority. But let's be honest... Acting isn't some high art, or some sort of philosophical debate. It's money. Pure and simple.

She has one life. If she wants to be in what some consider to be "bad" films, and take a paycheck, so be it. It's not as if, in three hundred years, people will be looking back on her roles, and continuing to decry how "bad" they were. And even if they were to, it's not as if she's going to care.

From the interviews I've seen with Milla, she seems to be a big ole geek and just simply enjoys genre (scifi, horror, action, fantasy, etc.) movies, so those are the projects she gravitates toward.

In that regard, I don't see her as inferior to someone like Jennifer Aniston, who has way too many shitty romcoms in her resume.
