Paramount distributed the films but Paramount did not produce the films.

They have US distributorship credits per imdb. I was debating whether to call Columbia and Sony the same thing, but they do have distinct corporate structures.

Thoughts from other Sheep?

EDITED TO ADD: DAMNIT ... I thought I included distribution in the question, but I clearly did not ... Who the hell is writing these questions?!

Hold on while I reboot the scores ...

I know you have posted the scores, but I am challenging the Sony and Paramount answers. Those are incorrect.

The question is not who distributed the films. The question is who produced them.

The Paramount link from wikipedia clearly states that Paramount DID NOT produce those Marvel films.

Re: Another movie SHEEP game: SHEEPERHERO II

Sony is not identified as one of the production companies for any of the Spider-Man films on IMDb.

And even if it were, it would not be the primary production company. Columbia is the primary production company.

Edited to add: Sony should probably just be considered a match with Columbia.

I was relying on this clarification from the Sheepmaster. If not for that, I wouldn't have answered Paramount because they were clearly a distributor and not a producer. I would challenge my answer being ruled incorrect on those grounds.

So ... If I were to ask this question of Star Wars movies, acceptable answers would include: 20th Century Fox, Lucasfilm, Disney, and even Warner Brothers (for that Clone Wars cartoon abomination - it was theatrically released). Bad Robot would be a debatable answer (I would say no, but they are listed as a "co-producer" when I fact check). Wrong answers would be things like THX, Universal, Sony, Skywalker Sound, ILM, or Rick McCallum.

Re: Another movie SHEEP game: SHEEPERHERO II

OK ... per imdb.com "COMPANY CREDITS" (digging a little deeper than the wikis, but I feel an appropriate action) ...

Sony does NOT have production credits for any of the Spider-Man films. cnicholls44's UNIQUE is reversed to a WRONG answer. That changes a -5 into a +7 and I will correct it with the next question.

Paramount DOES have production credits for Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger. davidh777's UNIQUE stands.

Universal DOES have production credits for The Hulk and The Incredible Hulk. ivelostr2's UNIQUE stands.

There are still 5 UNIQUEs so there is no change to the points awarded for UNIQUES.

With the alternate phrasing, Paramount should definitely count, but Sony shouldn't.

I knew I said something about distributorship somewhere ... nonetheless it was not in the question. Don't worry david, I didn't lead you too far astray though ... your answer stands per imdb.

Re: Another movie SHEEP game: SHEEPERHERO II

OK ... Moving on to number 10 ...

10.) From the studio logo to the last credit, we have been trained to stay until the house lights come up in the theater. What is your favorite mid- or post-credits scene?

I have one answer that I cannot award points to ...

DaveNinja simply provided: "guardians of the galaxy." There are two sequences, and I don't have enough to determine which one. Sorry Dave.

Re: Another movie SHEEP game: SHEEPERHERO II

All I know is that I recorded every episodes that OJ miniseries, Archer, and The Americans on FX at 9pm this spring, and I think I saw the same post-credits scene at the start of those recordings about 25 times.

I'd love to do an Archer game ... doubt there are enough fans here though.
