Yeah, I think the phrasing of the question wasn't the clearest. I initially was thinking of spaceships too, and only after reading the question a couple times did I realize that it was trying to suggest land transportation. I think it's the use of the word "planetary" which some may have automatically replaced in their mind with "interplanetary".
