i'm going to be a dissenting opinion here. i disliked this movie. i saw it all, in one sitting, but i was just not interested in the material. sure, the performances were great, but this one just didn't jive with me. Disappointing as i love all players involved.

I thought this was great. Yeah, it felt overlong but I’ll be honest, I’ve been trying to think of what could have been edited down and I can’t think of anything. In fact, there were places where the movie felt rush and almost could have breathed more.

Great performances all around. Not a bad one in the entire movie. Even though Leo seemed to be doing some sort of Sling Blade impression here and there.

Great cameo at the end!

Runaway

Great acting and an important topic, but the movie was way too long and a lot of the movie is redundant. Most of the first 90 minutes isn't necessary, because most of it gets repeated in the last two hours. I do like long movies and I didn't mind the runtime of Kill the Irishman, but Killers is just a drag for the most part.

It was a good movie but it would be hard to finish it in one night or sitting so split it over two days so the runtime did not bother me that much.

Wild story at World of Reel today that Lily Gladstone was only in THREE scenes in the original screenplay. Roth wrote it.

Paul Thomas Anderson had a big hand in the rewrites. Love it.
