That's fine. We have 17 players as of now. It would be nice to get at least 20. Since I'm off work tomorrow, I'll start revealing answers on Monday.

22!? I am an inferior Sheepmaster ...

By the way, do NOT do a Google search for an image of "inferior sheep." I'm walking away now.

Re: Reverse Sheep, Part Two, the Sequel: Electric Boogaloo

And away... we... go!

R: Name a sequel (or prequel) that was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

The game starts off pretty brutal. Not a single unique answer was given, and I have to mark three players incorrect:

Spoiler:

Sorry, but Fellowship of the Ring is not a prequel. I'm applying this definition: "a story or movie containing events that precede those of an existing work."

Kal-El +6

Spoiler:

Again, sorry, but no. Silence of the Lambs is not a sequel to Manhunter. The deal-breaker for me here is that the movies feature entirely different casts except for two actors -- who play DIFFERENT roles between the two movies. Clearly, one is not the direct continuation of the other.

Abob Teff Silence of the Lambs +6
T-bone22 Silence of the Lambs +6

Re: Reverse Sheep, Part Two, the Sequel: Electric Boogaloo

For the record, there was one more possible correct answer, but I'm glad no one gave it, as it is very debatable as a sequel:

Re: Reverse Sheep, Part Two, the Sequel: Electric Boogaloo

I thought about Mad Max, but I wasn't sure how that would be considered, so I passed. Maybe I should have taken the chance.

It's the same director, I'd say it's sequel status is hard to debate. I'm pretty sure I used it for a later question (but it's not a reverse.

I think George Miller said it was a hybrid sequel / reboot, so it's definitely in a gray area. Thankfully, we don't have to argue it. And you're not the only player to consider it a sequel in future questions.

Let's start off with a decent answer that got no matches:
Spoiler:

Re: Reverse Sheep, Part Two, the Sequel: Electric Boogaloo

Now let's move on to some decent matches:

A really good answer that only two players chose (and one slammed):
Spoiler:

Followed by another really good answer that only two players chose:
Spoiler:

This next answer got a decent consensus:

Spoiler:

cnhicholls44 The Godfather II {sd} -8
DaveNinja The Godfather Part II {sd} -8
T-bone22 Godfather Part II {sd} -8
wishbone The Godfather Part II -4
