I re-watched the first 5 minutes on Hulu, mainly to see if the "normal" framerate would make the film feel any better.
It doesn't. This movie is trash.

I guess this was "free" briefly to me using my X1 boxes on demand option several weeks back so I made sure to watch and I know a lot of people have trashed the film but while not great I was entertained and I thought Ang Lee did a good job casting the film. Again, not here to sing the films praises but I have seen other high budget action films that were much worse. I was just excited too be able to watch for free.
I also took advantage of what I believe was a limited window of time to see Bloodshot for free on demand and that was also a surprisingly fun watch (I was also familiar with the comic it was based on).

Caught it on Prime. Wow this was laughably bad. The most unintentional funniest part was when he had first encountered junior and couldn't get a good look at him and then finally he popped up in a mirror and it was the Fresh Prince of Bel Air complete with some rad looking shades. I don't know why but it was unintentionally hilarious. I don't know how they spent all the money they did on this movie and 1. Still had bad effects on the one gimmick the whole movie is predicated on. 2. Chose an actor who was already world famous at the age you are trying to deage him too. One of the reasons it doesn't work is we all know what Will Smith looked like at that age and that isn't it and we already associate young Will Smith with a TV comedy. Not a good choice of actor IMHO.
This was almost Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever level bad.
