Why? I realize Hulu is supposedly where the more adult content goes, but NM is PG13 and they have PG-13 stuff there. Just filter it from the kids accounts like all the other PG-13 and up content. I can't see it as much worse than, say, Runaways.

I guess.
I do not think they should put directly to either service. The $19.99 structure could work for it, I suppose. They should try and make money on it. It’s been delayed long enough, no reason to not keep delaying.

Unless it was one of the new releases out of the gate when this is over people will probably flock to whatever is released.

I went in via Amazon prime to get Trolls for the kids tonight and it was offered to me for $9.99. Not sure if it's a Prime special or something.

I get that we don't have any new releases, but couldn't we at least get a few new trailers this month? I am so starved for movie content. Weren't some new trailers supposed to drop with the previously scheduled releases of Quiet Place 2, No Time To Die and Trolls World Tour?

Dreamworks put the first 5 minute of Trolls World Tour up a few days ago:
Netflix is still releasing trailers, like this one for Dangerous Lies:
Or this one for Extraction:
or for The Half of It:
The Youtube channel Movieclips Trailers dies a weekly compendium "New Trailers This Week"

Looks like Universal's gamble on making Trolls 2 straight to VOD paid off, setting release day records: https://deadline.com/2020/04/trolls-...ay-1202906947/
I've heard speculation that now that VOD is a viable option, Disney may not rule out releasing Mulan that way after all. Might as well try to make some money. Their theme parks alone are losing $30 million a day. Yikes.

That is what I was wondering about. Were they sitting on some already-cut trailers to relase alongside Bond 25 or Quiet Place 2, or were they still in process of being cut. And was that something that an editor could do from home?

Re: COVID-19 Virus -- Movie related news
I'm not sure it paid off. I mean, it did much better than I thought, but I'm sure they thought the opening day haul sans virus would've been much bigger, and it's kind of hard to compare to other VOD releases that opened in theaters. But if it means more day and date release, I'm all for it.
We did rent it this weekend. It was pretty enjoyable. My 8 yo daughter loved the first one and this one as well so it was a no brainer for us.

Another move, but no trailer has been released for this. This was supposed to come out in late summer.

EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Pictures has moved Infinite from its August 7 date to May 28, 2021. The studio believes that the Antoine Fuqua-directed and Lorenzo di Bonaventura-produced film has the goods to slot into what likely will be a crowded Memorial Day holiday corridor. The film, which stars Mark Wahlberg and Chiwetel Ejiofor, is an adaptation of the D. Eric Maikranz novel The Reincarnationist Papers and Wahlberg plays a self medicated near suicidal man haunted by having skills he never learned and visions of places he has never visited. He is rescued by a group called “infinites,” who unlock his past life memories, in hopes he can thwart a member of the group with a terrible plan for humanity.

Re: COVID-19 Virus -- Movie related news
and as dex14 said, it's almost pointless to cut trailers right now because the studios aren't going to spend money for it when the release dates are still in flux.
