Died of Pneumonia.
He will always be known for me as Roper from Enter the Dragon and Lt. Thompson from A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Don't know how many of you watched, but he was also the host of Kung Fu Theatre in the 1980s

Just saw that. Bummer. My favorite of his will forever be his part in Black Christmas. He was terrific in that.

RIP
Besides his film roles he seemed to always show up on various TV shows I watched back in the 70's and 80's.

Sad news. Like @devilshalo, I also remember him from Blood Beach and like most people know him from Enter the Dragon as well. The role of his that always comes to my mind first, though, is Fred Sloan, Steve Austin's friend who gets replaced by a look-alike robot in The Six Million Dollar Man. I seriously loved that show as a kid and Day of the Robot was a standout.
R.I.P. John Saxon.

RIP John Saxon.
Had a bad experience with him at a Convention many years ago but always appreciated the films he was in.
