My first viewing of the movie was good as well. I found the movie to be adequately disturbing. I revisited it again about 10 years after it was initially released and found it to be incredibly boring. Knowing what was going to happen, or rather, what WASN’T going to happen, makes the movie pretty lackluster. I haven’t watched it again in quite a while. Maybe I’ll enjoy it again? I don’t know.

I had barely heard of this movie when it showed it up on streaming, but randomly clicked on it, and it's been the single greatest blind movie selection I've ever made. I can't bare to think of the alternate timeline where I picked something else and never watched this.

Recognized Hank Kingsley in the car. The movie came out right at the apex of Larry Sanders, and I was excited to see him pop up in the movie. Could never understand why he wasn't in more movies with bigger parts. I think I have an idea now.
