The man, the myth, the...lie. Meet Ricky Stanicky March 7 on Prime Video.
When three childhood best friends pull a prank gone wrong, they invent the imaginary Ricky Stanicky to get them out of trouble! Twenty years after creating this ‘friend,’ Dean, JT, and Wes (Zac Efron, Andrew Santino, and Jermaine Fowler) still use the nonexistent Ricky as a handy alibi for their immature behavior. When their spouses and partners get suspicious and demand to finally meet the fabled Mr. Stanicky, the guilty trio decide to hire washed-up actor and raunchy celebrity impersonator "Rock Hard" Rod (John Cena) to bring him to life. But when Rod takes his role of a lifetime too far, they begin to wish they’d never invented Ricky in the first place. From director Peter Farrelly and featuring additional cast members including William H. Macy, Lex Scott Davis, and Anja Savcic.

I have absolutely zero expectations for this and I think it looks hilarious. Besides, it's "free".

^ Probably because it’s a terrible title with a really “Dickie Roberts” and “Bucky Larson” sound to it.
This movie sounds absolutely imbecilic but I may check it out just for John Cena’s performance. He looks like he decided to go completely off the rails.

I still give either Farrelly a look because of their 3 perfect 90s comedies. If it wasn’t for the name, I would have given this zero priority.

Watched this and really enjoyed it. Cena is great... Effron looks.... weird. Dude wins the genetic lottery and STILL has plastic surgery? WTF

I watched it last night and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I mean it’s stupid, basically a typical Farrelly Brothers movie.
John Cena was great and has some pretty hilarious one liners/ throw-away lines throughout. Efron was also great and got funnier the more his characters became stressed out by the situation. William H. Macy also seems to be enjoying himself with his character.
I’m not sure how much replay value this has but it’s worth it just to watch Cena go all-out for this role.
