I looked these up on IMDb and POOH 2 ‘opens’ March 26 (possibly already mentioned in that thread?), while BAMBI is in post-production, and NEVERLAND is currently shooting. I’ll give them credit for cashing in quick in the age-old exploitation tradition, but the producers behind these movies have excreted a ton of the most awful, z-grade, sub-sub-Asylum, Tubi-style garbage of the last couple of years, proving just how easy it is to make movies at this level now. I was a little surprised to see that they hadn’t roped a ‘will work for craft services’ superstar like Eric Roberts or Michael Pare or Bai Ling for a supporting role in one of these, but then I was equally surprised to see Simon Callow in the cast list for Pooh 2. Sigh.

I have no interest in these and I’m going to guess the announcement posters for the Poohniverse are the best things this franchise has going for it.

At least they have a plan going forward. Lucasfilm should take note.

Bambi flipping the car was probably the majority of the visual effects budget. The other 99% of the movie is probably unseen sounds in the woods and close ups of an obviously fake deer head.
