The DTS track is pretty kickass. The sound mix is overall LIGHT YEARS better than the HBO broadcast. You should definitely enjoy it. If only her other tours would get such good treatment on DVD. The Girlie Show has a horrible new sound mix and Who's That Girl is good for the PCM soundtrack.

Couple of highlights: She is #1 in 24 countries right now.

She has now tied Elvis for the most top 10 hits: 36.

She also holds on to her reign as the female solo artist with the most top 40 hits at 45.

It is her 6th album to go to #1, beating out Michael Jackson for most #1 albums.

DFN.....Two weeks....com'on....that is a long time on the GAY time spectrum? Not that I am saying anyone is gay, or that there is anything wrong with it.

Who said Lara is gay? And if she is a she and she's a lesbian...usually they're married after 2 weeks, no? Which means she'd love it FOREVER!

I enjoy stopping by Music Talk just to see if digitalfreaknyc has bumped one of his Madonna threads to the top again. I'm rarely disappointed.

On January 10, 2006, a mysterious US Promo will be released, currently labelled as "Confessions Double Mix Pack". There's no news at the moment about what is going to be included - wether there will be mixes for the new single or something different.

A tentative release date for "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret has now been set for February 2006. Interestingly enough, it seems that this release is currently listed as a DVD+CD set.

My favorite song on the album is Jump, and it's the first Madonna album where there's no song(s) I hate, BUT I have to say I love love love Super Pop, laugh at me all you want. It's so so over the top and it feels to me like it could have been recorded with Shep Pettibone between Vogue and Rescue Me (two of my fav Madonna songs). All the Vogue-like name dropping, and random similarities to RM (the 'ooh yeah' and similar music during the chorus). Fighting Spirit I could bearly get through one listening.

I have to agree. Super Pop totally grew on me. I was blasting the whole album (including FS and SP) and my friend couldn't help but dance through it. It's just got an irresistable beat.

Give it a listen with Rescue Me in mind and tell me what you think.
