Although I don't know if iTunes playlists will end up being useful for these exchanges (doesn't sound like they work in the same way a Winamp playlist would), here's the how-to:

If you have your playlist saved in itunes, can't you put all of the songs in one big file in winamp?, and go from there.

My (first?) mix is done and uploaded: "Gaining a Good Harbor." I've sent the link along to Bus for distribution. It's a zip file, around 108mb, with individual tracks and full-size (4.8"x4.8") front and back jpeg covers that can be printed if you like. Here's a smaller version of the front:

I just wanted to check back in. I'll get mine in soon, still tinkering with the tracklisting.

I've now decided to do a Fast / Slow collection (20 each). It will be done by the end of the week. I'll be uploading to sendspace, unless there's a better place.

Just want the mail group members to know that my mix is done, but I'm pretty swamped, so I won't be able to go to the post office until mid-week.

my mix is also done (already e-mailed The Bus).

I haven't given it a fancy name, though. I'm lazy that way.
I gave it a theme, so I hope at least a few people enjoy it.

I'm getting everyone's emails. I'll be cataloguing stuff tomorrow and sending out the emails to everyone. I'll make the cutoff time noon EST tomorrow just in case people had trouble logging/checking in with the forum being slow for a bit.

I wouldn't call mine "random" but there is somewhat of a mix of genere's so there's something for everyone (cause i don't think everyone would appreciate a 20 song 80 minute mix of deathmetal and hardcore music)

Oh great ... this will make a fantastic pairing with the soft, contemplative (i.e. unbelievably girlie) mix I put together.

I'm in the electronic group so a Sendspace mix was sent. It's an 80's alt mix (some vinyl only cuts + mix of obscure and semi-obscure). This was a bitch putting together because I could have made ten of these collections easily from the songs I picked out... I threw out so many great tunes. What I ended up with was a cassette length mix!

Mine is ready to mail. Once I decided on the theme, it was easy to chose the tracks.

So anyone heard from the Bus about online distribution? Ready to hear what you guys have come up with, and your opinions on my House of Rock.

Mail Group

OK, I've gotten everyone's confirmation and full information except for:

cusm
hal9000
Scrumtrulescent

I didn't get an email from Tarantino but he said here it was almost done so I will take that as a confirmation.

At most, you will need to make 16 copies of the CDs. Currently, we can confirm that at minimum, 13 copies are necessary.

Two of these copies will go to me as I am relaying a mix to someone else.

One of the mailings will go to Canada. Everything else is in the US.

Email Group

It looks like we're all done. I'll be sending an email out no later than tomorrow to you guys. Just want to see if any of the mail guys are also doing an electronic version of their mix.

Once everything is ready I'll make a second thread and ask the mods to close this one.

The Bus, I just fired off an email to you. I wasn't paying attention (no big surprise there), but my track listing is ready to burn and ship at a moments notice, that is of course if it isn't already too late. Once again sorry for the tardy response.

Hey bus, anychance that the other thread can be dedicated to a review/dissussion thread, and keep this one open for questions and what not.

Also, I still need to know how to put my mix online as well.

I just zipped mine up and uploaded it for free at sendspace.com. No account needed, just mark down the URL. It's only up for two weeks, but that should be enough time.
