Music albums by actors/actresses: Which do you own? Are they any good?
I've picked these up over the years if I find them cheap, mostly as a novelty. Seemed interesting for someone to branch over to music from their acting career. Some of them I've enjoyed, some not so much. I have:
Milla (Jovovich) - The Divine Comedy (1994)
Jennifer Love Hewitt - (self-titled, 1996)
Juliette Lewis - Terra Incognita (2009)
Rilo Kiley (Jenny Lewis) - Under the Blacklight (2007)
Kari Wuhrer - Shiny (1999)
Minnie Driver - Everything I've Got In My Pocket (2004)
So, which do you have, and how are they?

I own the first three albums from (WWE wrestler) Chris Jericho's metal band "Fozzy" and the soundtrack to Get Him to the Greek, which is billed as being by "Infant Sorrow", which is the name of Russell Brand's band in the movie. All the tracks except for 2 are by Infant Sorrow, and the other 2 tracks are by "Jackie Q" (Rose Byrne's character). I can't think of anything else I own that might fit the category.
I enjoy them all, even if some of it has to do with novelty reasons.

EDIT: Fuck! I just realized I typed Jenny Wright instead of Jenny Lewis in the first post. My bad.

Director (actor if you count Twin Peaks) David Lynch has two really great albums out. Crazy Clown Time and The Big Dream.

Well, luckily movies don't have to be blockbusters or Oscar contenders to be seen. Hopefully you've at least heard of it. It's joked about or at least mentioned every so often on here. Anyway, she's been in other things, too, but that's the one she's probably best known for.

These might be the worst ever though Thomas maybe has some talent.
Bought them during my Miami Vice phase in the 80's.

I liked the last release by The Pretty Reckless ... having no idea the lead singer (Taylor Momsen) was more famous for acting in Gossip Girl.
From those listed above, I've enjoyed all of Chris Jericho's Fozzy stuff (at least the more recent ones where they're a real band and not pretending at being a Spinal Tap-like cover band).
And I bought Milla Jovovich's CD way back in the day. It's nothing like what you'd think an album by a teenage actress-model would sound like (and that's a good thing). It always struck me as strange she never put in the effort to release another full-length album (outside of an apartment-recorded album a few years after Divine Comedy). You'd think in between doing all those crappy movies she'd be getting the occasional itch to do more music over the last 17 years.

Thought of them but I wasn't sure if she was a singer that decided to act or actor that decided to sing. Some examples are not as easy as David Bowie obviously being more of a singer than actor.

She & Him is pretty good.
I have a couple Rebecca Pidgeon CDs that I haven't listened to. On the Star Trek front, the James Darren CDs are good Sinatra-lite stuff, and Brent Spiner's Old Yellow Eyes Is Back is pretty decent as well.

Taylor's been acting since she was very young, so I think it's safe to consider that her first career. Don't you remember her from Jim Carrey's Grinch movie, as Cindy Lou Who?

I've heard good things about the Hugh Laurie band too, but the couple of Woody Allen recordings I heard were pretty rough.

My roommate has one of Hugh's albums. Pretty good stuff. Lots of talent there.

I like the album "Break Up" by Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson. I haven't heard Scarlett's 2008 solo album "Anywhere I Lay My Head".
