I don't mind deleting mine, but I would think that protocol would dictate that the first one posted should stay. What do y'all think?

It was Take the A Train when I replied, but now it’s Folsom Prison Blues.

I agree with that protocol. The alternative was to try to make a connection of The Clash's Train in Vain to Petula Clark. If you could do that, It'd be pretty impressive.

I posted Take the A Train with Roy Clark. It was to sequitur both Petula Clark and Train in Vain. I liked Folsom Prison Blues better, so I changed it. You still get Clark and train (I see that train a comin').

Ha! I just figured out today how you could make a connection with Downtown and Train in Vain that's neither a reach, nor overly vague (I.E., both were British artists):
Bad karaoke versions. Groundskeeper Willie sang Downtown in a Simpsons episode ("Doon toon"), and Joseph Gordon Leavitt sang Train in Vain badly in (500) Days of Summer.

And thanks to Paff for posting that Voice of the Beehive clip. Loved their debut album in the 80's. I knew they played the odd gig or string of shows here and there over the years, but didn't know they played one in a long time.
