I just signed up for verified fan. With TWO Toronto Dates and a Montreal date flanking Ottawa, here's hoping no craziness when it comes to snagging tix.

You should register for all the shows you want to go, but (if) how you're chosen and for what show... they don't tell you that.

I'd only want to go to Ottawa if able but choose Toronto and Montreal just in case. But don't want them to to think, well, he choose two others. Give 'em one of those or something.

It's a crapshoot and one of the reasons I don't like the process. On the first leg, I didn't get chosen for any, but my wife's account got selected for the location I wanted least.

Combination of not a strong market and overpricing. The prices had been that low for over a week too. It's the same in Tulsa. You could've gotten a ticket to get in the building for Dallas for $30. Face value prices have dropped in Kansas City.

Scalpers took a bath. There are fans who got screwed too. Ones who stupidly panic bought at dynamic or premium prices, couldn't go, then had to sell for practically nothing.

Good to see Steve and Soozie back so quickly and here's hoping for a prompt return to E Street for Nils.

Night opened the show and If I Were the Priest (by sign request) got played for the first time since 1972! (I'm hoping Janey Needs and Shooter gets worked in at one point)

Surprisingly, considering the day, no real love tunes (though sparse in the Boss' catalogue, he does have a song called Valentines Day )

Also, no Seeds for the easy roar from the crowd in Houston town.

Looking forward to listening to this one to hear Priest live.

Add to that, after scalpers bought up every ticket they could, which was obviously already more than there was demand for....Bruce then released side and rear view tickets and they stupidly bought up all those too.

And if you ask me, it's more preferred than the first show (Friday > Wednesday).

Unsure what constitutes being "verified" a fan but Ticketmaster opted to pop me on a waitlist.

It's random. Still a shitty system, IMO. I hate not being given the opportunity to even buy.

I wouldn't worry too much. If you want to go that badly you'll go. It seems like there have been a lot of holds that have gotten released closer to the shows. Also, if you want to send me a PM with the show you want, budget, location, etc. I can keep an eye on tickets in fan groups who resell for face.

My Ticketmaster experience:
-Signed up for verified fan. Received an email that I had not been selected but was on the waiting list.
-The email stated that, should there be tickets, I would be part of a lottery to see if I could get in to purchase.
-Dex here on the forum would tell me he was seeing tix available for the venue I was looking at (sometime around 330PM). Was surprised as no email was sent via Ticketmaster.
-Wrote Ticketmaster on Twitter to receive this reply: "Thank you for contacting Ticketmaster, our apologies for any inconvenience this might have caused. We are experiencing some difficulties with our website which may cause us not to be access to send out the code in time as it has been stated that there is no assurance that all the customers who received their code were going to be able to get tickets during the presale period and scalping has become a problem and it's really affecting sales. but we can help you secure your ticket by referring you to one of our representatives in charge who can help you secure your tickets with a manual process. if you are interested. "
-I figure that would have got me nowhere.
-The tickets that were left had floorseats for $1500-2000 and nosebleeds/middle area facing the stage going for about $150-250. Lower area more like $300-400.
-I eventually just snagged behind the stage for $95 including fees/tax. It actually looks closer than the higher priced stage facing seats. I figure, I've seen Bruce 8 times from the front. The back might be an interesting perspective on how the band operates and it will be cool seeing Max's drumming that way.

At least I got tix without breaking the bank.
