Re: Time Enough For Love (Robert Heinlein)

Yes that's the one. It definitely has some good moments but overall isn't great. And yes I think that him being a 'dirty old man' is a fair description at this point.

Re: Last TV show you watched?

Last night I watched the episode from season 2 of 30 Rock which featured Carrie Fisher as a washed-up writer. Excellent parallels with Liz Lemon.

Re: Dallas -- 2 Hour Premiere -- "Battle Lines/Venomous Creatures" -- 1/28/13

Absolutely, I almost can't bear the thought of not having it back for a few years, almost like they'd tease us with it and then take it away again!

I didn't...

Re: Dallas -- 2 Hour Premiere -- "Battle Lines/Venomous Creatures" -- 1/28/13

I thought these first 2 episodes were great. It felt much more like 'Dallas' than last season, with the in-office scenes, and I loved that the first thing that John Ross does when going into the...

Re: Recommended Films For Toddlers?

Do you have a 3 year old child of your own? Have you had? You'd be surprised. I thought exactly the same way before I had kids but the comprehension of a 3 year old is surprisingly advanced.

Re: Recommended Films For Toddlers?

Firstly, thanks for all of the suggested films, I will be vetting some of them sometime soon.

As to whether or not toddlers should be watching any TV/movies, my personal opinion is that there is...

Re: Tune in to the TV on DVD* Challenge: same Bat-time, same Bat-forum!

I love GG. My wife used to watch it and I would leave the room because it just sounded like women rabbiting on about nothing (nothing against women by the way, it was the rabbiting on that I can't...
