Looks to be a pretty consistent 1/3 drop in trade-in values across the board. Titles that used to be $5.99 are now $3.99, formerly $29.99 titles are now $19.99, etc.

I don't really care if the trade in values are lower, I'd still be getting good credit for stuff I don't really want that I got cheap. I just want some credit for this sale!!

Man, you guys weren't kidding: A systematic 1/3 drop in value across the boards on used disc trades. Extremely bad news.

I'm just glad that I sent in so many over the past month, and already got my credit for em.

Now it looks like it will be better to wait for second spin's next 20% extra trade in.

How many of you guys are going to wait until after the sale to see if prices return to what they are? I think I might. I wanted some credit for this sale but if I send them in now and the prices do return to what they were before I'd be pissed.

It depends on Secondspin/wherehouse buy prices.
I noticed alot of stuff they paid a $1 or $2 for.
Now are like 5 cents or a dime.
Or not even buying.

Wow the prices got gutted, that's what I get for procrastinating.

Guess I'll sell through Amazon at this point, doubt if you send a box to DVDPlanet today you'd even get your credit before the sale ends anyway.

Send them in now for a slim chance at getting the credit in time for the sale. The prices won't go back up.

According to the USPS, my package arrived yesterday morning. I wonder how long before I get a credit?

Mine arrived a few days ago and I recieved
a email saying my quote was accepted this morning.
Also recieved the higher quote prices, even though
many are lower now.

Mine was received on the 29th and credited on Nov. 7th. A lot of mine were listed at a different price than when I submitted but the total credit was the same. I thought that was strange. Anyway, already placed my order and spent all of my credit.

Mine was received on the 3rd and got my credit this morning. I thought for sure dvdplanet was going to screw me and make me wait until after the 25% off sale.

Well that gives me hope - I sent mine in a day after you so I'm hoping they don't "forget" to process it.

I had these Blu-ray titles in my wishlist at DvdPlanet. I was waiting to place my 2nd order today. Prices shown are already marked down 25%. Look how much the prices went up. I did remove Band of Brothers from my wishlist/cart and purchased it from DeepDiscount.

These 5 titles increased by $11.90 since yesterday.

1. Wall-E - $20.22 - $22.97

2. Southland Tales - $15.20 - $16.83

3. Hellboy II: The Golden Army - $20.98 - $23.43

4. Tropic Thunder - $22.47 - $24.33

5. Mongol - $20.22 - $23.43

DVDPlanet's blu-ray prices seem to be increasing by the minute. Criterion's Third Man and Man Who Fell to Earth are now $29.96 each.

Still paitently waiting for my credit to come through. It came in on Saturday, so I'm hoping to get credit tomorrow or Friday. Looking at the price hikes, I need it to be there now!
