We were out of town this weekend so I was unable to get my discs in the mail before Monday, so unless the USPS surprises me with delivering an extra day sooner, the three mailed yesterday will be the final ones. Now I'll wait and see if I get the ten free discs in the mail and what they might be.....I added another hundred or so titles to my queue just in case it increases my chances.

I was hoping to get Deep Rising for my final disc, but they didn't ship it. They sent the second movie in my queue. It was the appropriately titled All Things Must Pass Tower Records documentary. I'll miss the disc in the mail service. I started out with Blockbuster's in 2005 after my local video stores started closing down and had major problems with them (I couldn't edit my queue). I switched to Netflix after that and never had problems except for the rare disc that would skip and the one time that discs ended up missing after putting them in the apartment mailbox. I called Netflix about the missing disc and they had great customer service. The lady helped me out and shipped two discs right out to me.

So wondering if anything will be manipulated so that the very last disc shipped is “This is the End”?

I don't know exactly how it works, but they usually ship next day after I put a disc in the mail.

I checked my queue this morning and it didn’t look like they shipped me out any bonus discs so far. Has anyone here had bonus discs shipped?

I mailed discs on Friday and Saturday, and they sent me two on Monday. They weren’t here as of Thursday, but I don’t think we got any mail deliveries on Wednesday or Thursday. This is pretty standard turnaround for my Netflix disc experience. I probably should’ve tried to figure out what was OOP for my final deliveries, but I wasn’t that organized.

I never did get the 10, but if they show up next week I won’t complain.

This will eliminate 75% of my interactions with USPS lol.

I thought they said the shipments would be a surprise? You wouldn't know what, or how many would be sent until you got them in the mail.

They did say it’d be a surprise, but I went back and checked the email, and you’re right, they said the bonus 10 would be sent out today. So we’ll just see what happens next week. I did put some random international titles in my top 10.

I was hoping they would show up in the shipped portion of your queue, but I guess we'll see what happens next week. I'm hoping for at least one since I've been a subscriber for 16 years.

I think they’re just clearing out their warehouses. If you have a small queue and lots of in demand titles, I suspect you’ll be lucky to get anything. If you have a couple hundred titles with a lot that barely get rented, I think you’d get the full ten. Then whatever is left will get thrown away or liquidated. Only time will tell.

They have quite few out of print titles like twilight zone the movie. I hope to get some since I've been a member for a long time near the beginning. They said it would be a number sent up to 10 titles. Some could get less or none.I wonder if it is based on how many disks you were getting each month. I increased to 3 disks for the last 2 months. I do have 3 disks coming that I know I get to keep.

Make sure you download your DVD History PDF. They did a really good job with it. They made a lot of money off of me. I only rented 333 discs in 17 years.

I wish mine went back that far. I signed up under a new email address a couple years ago to separate streaming and disc service so my history only includes 200 rentals.

My Queue shows they shipped me only one extra disk beyond my three disks. I spent too much time picking disks for my queue if this is it. There is a discussion on reddit saying some people got up to 7 disks. Most people didn't seem to get any extra disks. But maybe there is more to come or there not being shown on the netflix site as sent. Or Netfix shouldn't have made this announcement about ten extra disks.

Nothing extra shipped on my account. They were clear you might get zero, you might get ten. It’s all free and something they don’t have to do, I’m not worried at all if I don’t get more.

I know some good movies came out in 1965, but you really should open yourself up to movies made in other years, you're missing out on a lot!
