Man, that sucks balls.

Are they giving any kind of heads up to viewers that the program they're watching might be edited for content?

I would hope so, like they do for movies on a network being edited for content. I don't watch enough to notice.

Henderson said in his post that Tubi is not editing content themselves. They have asked some distributors to do it. Who they are and what type of content, I have no idea.

I do have a bunch of 90s Andy Sidaris playboy model action flicks saved on my watch list. I should check those.

Henderson said .."Tubi has been actively asking producers to cut and edit content out of their movies and/or cutting it themselves." Sounds like if the producers won't do it, Tubi will.

Re: Tubi -- ad supported streaming service

They should at least be required to show a message saying “edited for content” if they’re gonna do that. Some comments have said that some movies are still uncut and some are sanitized versions which may have just been what they were sent.

Good news is that they FINALLY added a setting to turn off auto-play. The regular app still puts crap on the screen but using Airplay you can watch everything clean. Before it would rudely cut off the end credits, the timer would appear on your iPad and you’d have to watch that to stop it from cutting them off. I’d actually like it to play another movie after it’s COMPLETELY over.
