I was disappointed that Kimmel was a complete kiss-ass when they were talking about the incident. Thornton described it as though the radio interviewer was grilling him about movies, when all he did was mention his acting as a small part of his introduction. He then immediately went on to ask questions about the band.

Did anyone get this episode in HD? It was SD on the Albany affiliate. I wonder if they forgot to flip the HD switch or if it was networkwide.

I don't think Kimmel was ever shown in HD

I'd like to think that was the case, but according to the Kimmel appearance, Billy Bob claims he does this sort of thing often, but that it must've been a slow news day.

Yeah, I liked his comment about the Canadian DJ "lying to my face." Thornton came off as a spoiled celebrity who thinks granting interviews is some sort of grand gift. He forgets that the whole reason he was there was to promote himself, his band and their music.
