"24" Day 3 - 5:00PM to 6:00 pm

This show easily made up for last week's show. Hated that scene with the guard being forced to shoot himself.

Boy, are the circumstances for Jack coming to a head? He's now trapped more than previous seasons and I'm not sure at this point how everything will turn out.

Sheese.

WE know Jack probably wouldn't answer...

but don't you think SOMEONE would at least try and call his cell phone to ask "WTF Jack?".

Pretty good stuff, except for the whole Presidential debate thing... Lose it.

Best episode yet? I must be watching a different show.

I find that I cannot tolerate any scene in CTU anymore. Everyone's either incompetent, annoying, perpetually brooding, or a mole.

I actually liked last week's episode fine and felt like the show was moving in a pretty good direction, but this one was just silly. Intensity can only cover up for so much plot before it becomes intolerable.

I thought it was a so-so episode. I just can't stand that new neanderthal guy working at CTU now.

The prison stuff was good but that's about it.

I really hope Chloe dies soon. I think I hate her almost as I did Kim. Kim was stupid but Chloe's just a bitch.

I think Palmer has taken Kim's slot of being the show time filler.

The whole Russian Roulette thing just reminded me way too much of The Deer Hunter.

Good Episode. This is the only show that keeps me in my chair for a full 60 minutes.

CTU hasnt been the same since they killed off Mason. At this point Im actually rooting for the mole.

If a real anti terrorism office was run like CTU, I'd move to Greenland. It's like "CSI: Melrose Place" in there.

The only good part of this show was the jail stuff and the ending. And next weeks show looks like it could have some good stuff...

The President's blackmail storyline is a waste of screen time, and Chloe must DIE!! She can't act for shit and she's about the most annoying character on TV ever (at least that I've seen)

And what the hell was up with Mrs. Tony Almeda watching the surgury? Doesn't that violate patient privacy laws... and why would she want to see that anyway?

This show has gotten so bad. Why didn't Jack do anything at all when they were captured. At the very least he could have stalled, but no, he happily pulled his trigger without hesitation.

I forgot the the funniest part of the show tonight was the PSA at the end. My roommate and I were about to go play Russian Roulette before Kiefer came on and told us it was a bad idea.

Also

I had the same questions. Is it occasionally important for CTU to observe random surgeries? Uh...fellas...put a cap on the man's head, please.

Maybe he was like that guy on ER a few weeks ago and insisted only on an epidural...

Precisely the same word I kept thinking of. I expected Graham Chapman to come into the frame in his uniform at any moment to tell them to knock it off.

I thought it was just an ok episode. The prison material seemed forced, almost like the writers were trying to substitute intensity for the total lack of plot this episode. This season started off good, but has steadily gone downhill these last few weeks. I hope it starts getting better, because I'm rapidly losing interest in it.

I loved the whole ep. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The only thing that got to me was this:

The 'bad guys' have this huge warehouse big enough for a containment unit for a class 3 biohazard problem... Kyle. But when they kidnap him they are just going to leave the truck parked out front for all to see?

Come on writers you can do better. We have seen it.

And still waiting for this second mole to come to a head.

"Hey look, part of a blue shirt in a car somewhere around the mall. Wasn't Kyle wearing a blue shirt?"

Yeah, him and 800 others....

I know, when they were going through all this work to find the truck's license plate I kept thinking, "How is this going to matter? Surely the bad guys would park it inside the warehouse or dump it elsewhere."

They are going to have to make Jack's breaking out of Salazar somehow justified (and not just from his perspective at the time) in the end, to make up for the loss of innocent life it caused during the riot.

Not only that, Kyle didn't get into that truck and have the gun pointed at him until they were well out of the mall. He was driving the chicks car for a while.

Overall, an entertaining episode. The Russian Roulette was ballsy for both Jack and Ramon. Don't they usually put a cap over the patient's head while operating on the neck?

I enjoyed Kim feeling dumb and duped by her father.

I still hate Gaul the mole in CTU, just too cheesy of a plot device 3rd time around.

The Palmer stuff is tedious and not too entertaining, especially when the brother got in a "told ya so" to the politically-ignorant doctor.

Ramon's brother's woman really does rule over him, doesn't she?

Agreed. I expect that she will turn out to be a far more dangerous person than either Ramon or Hector.
