Maybe, but his frat bros seem pretty cool right now. They make little jokes here and there (there was one last night about Jack being compared to a girl or something....I can't remember exactly), but everybody laughs with Jack....

It'll be really interesting if Jack somehow develops a crush on a frat bro....which could transpire into a lot of hostility and paranoia...

Yup....Dawson and Jen went to a film festival (where he won the top award) and masqueraded as a couple while they were there. Dawson started talking about how they were a couple a long time ago and he said that their relationship never worked out because Jen was never physically attracted to him. Upon hearing this, she leaned over and kissed him....and then he kissed her....and then... Then, when they were supposed to check out of the hotel, Jen said that she wished they could stay longer....so Dawson dumps out his duffle bag and says that they'll stay....which alluded to them doing the nasty again....

They also talked about how sex changes everything blah, blah, blah. Bottom line is I think they're gonna try to be a couple.

In the commericals leading to the show it had Dawson telling Jenn to tell him what to do. That never showed up in the show itself. How come? I wanted to see it.

I didn't see previews for next week. Is it on?

Yeah, he didn't ask her to show him how to do it...I don't know why. I caught that too.

I just checked out the official site...looks like next week is a re-run...which is probably why there weren't any previews.

I hope not. There's already enough stereotypes and negativity being thrown around about it. You have to admit that at the beginning of this season Audrey definitely seemed like she'd be into the whole setting her up to get someone laid thing.

I was happy with last night's episode. I'm glad to see Dawson not wasting his time on Joey for once. Before this season is over, I bet Pacey and Joey get back together. Ugh. Joey annoys me.

I wish they hadn't cut the episode like they did. WB has been doing little things like that lately. Like showing Noel blurt out that he had Felicity, and then not showing that scene until the next week's episode.

I liked this episode. Looks like they're going back to the basics. That pre-credit sequence with Pacey and Dawson showed that they're on the road back to being best friends again.

Am I mistaken or wasn't this Dawson's "first time"? He was the only remaining virgin in the bunch right?

They should just make Audrey a cast member. She's hot enough and looks to be more interesting than Andie.

I also think the frat thing will turn against Jack. I don't know how though.

Yup. If memory serves me correctly, he didn't do the deed with Pacey's sister last season...so that makes Jen the first.

It's definitely his first. That's what makes it a big deal. That's why in the previews he said "Show me what to do." I was pretty upset that he "didn't do the deed" with Gretchen last season. She was cool, and she's Pacey's sister.

i think it was dumb that dawson and jen did it. same for pacey and joey. dawson and joey should have done it for the last episode of the last season because this show was supposed to be about them and their love... but it's mutated into some type of freakish thing now. maybe they didn't intend the show to last this long.

and the dawson/jen thing is particularly meaningless and cheapened considering jen just got done f'ing that other dude last week and this week she even expressed sadness that he liked the other girl more then her. nice going dawson, your got sloppy seconds on your first try.

I disagree. If this Dawson-Joey thing ever works out and they live happily ever after, there can no longer be this feeling of "you were my first, but I wasn't your first." Did I mention before that I'm not a Joey fan?

Dawson's had BJs before, since he was getting one from Eve when he crashed the boat, but this week with Jen was his first full sexual experience

Has Dawson always been such "sweetness and light"? I hope he's turned the corner on mourning his dad, because he was really dragging me down in his mopage. I do think he and Jen make a good couple.

Jen sort of grew on me, she's not all together, but basically cooler and probably be more fun to hang around with.

Joey annoys me as well, but she does have a backbone, and isn't afraid to walk out of a situation (a la Jack). I think it's her weird crooked smirk thing that she does with her mouth, it's just odd looking. Anyhow, her professor is probably going to make a pla for Joey later in the season.

Pacey is the typical "rescue me" type of guy. He needs a career in fire-fighting. Ther's no way he and Joey will get back together, they are going in different directions in different worlds/circles.

Jack might get some harrassment, maybe coming from other frat houses for being the token gay guy. I hope it doesn't come from his own frat house.

It's highly unrealistic to think a bunch of high schoolers will all hang together once they get to college, rather most go their separates ways within 4 years, and the bonds you make in college will be of a more longer-lasting relationships than the ones made in high school.

well that's why joey and pacey should not have done it either. but also, i don't think dawson is the type to hold a grudge really, he seems to have gotten over it long ago. he talks to both of them now.

another thing, dawson's dad just died and now he picks a time a get into a relationship? and he is in therapy to boot and just dropped out of college. he sure picked a pretty bad time to date people.

Writing for this series at times has been hard to follow or view.

With that said. Jen and Dawson hooking up is pretty cool.
Both are close friends. She was accepted into the DC group.
They each had a attraction to each other before.
Being with someone you can trust and be open with
is what I think everyone is looking for. It might even be good
therapy as certain feelings or emotions will be let out.
Thats what I get from this episode anyways.

Will it last in tv land. No. In real life. Maybe.

I remember the wonder years a few years back.
Kevin & Winnie never got married or whatever.
But both had normal lives and a long friendship.

Dawson & Joey together & forever is fantasyland in my book.
And maybe its time for this series to finally grow up.

The DID have sex in the final episode though. they wer stranded far away from home, it was raining, and they took shelter in a barn.

Voiceover came up, and described what happens in the future to all the characters -- and reveals that Kev & Winnie made love in the barn that night.

Who's excited about tonight's Dawson's Creek?

Screw the Lord of the Rings, I can't wait for the WB tonight. On DC, Pacey decides to throw a large dinner party at Grams' house to reunite all of his high-school friends, but Joey is in for a surprise when she walks in on a kiss between Dawson and Jen. Oh yes, the s**t will hit the fan.

I'm also looking forward to Felicity.

Damn! That's right. And I remember in the preview last week they showed Joey asking Dawson, "I mean, it's only one kiss right?" and Dawson's look gives it all away. Good thing I have enough time to go home and set the VCR.

Oh yeah, I forgot to comment on last week's episode....

WTF? Shouldn't that have been a Halloween episode instead? It didn't fit the storyline and was totally out of left field...

You know what's weird about that, and I totally don't understand. I download the episodes, and I noticed that they had skipped season 5, episode 5 and went directly to 6. When I asked why, I was told that episode 5 would be shown later in the season. Episode 5 was the halloween episode. Halloween was even on Wednesday, so I don't understand why they didn't show it then. I'm guessing they wanted to try to line up the plot that was going on so that it would be right during sweeps month or something.

I'm definitely excited about tonight's episode. I'm headed home right now to watch it. From the previews, it looks like Joey's look when she realizes the chance Jen stole from her isn't as shocked as I had hoped. I forgot that I saw the preview last week, and thought tonight was a rerun until I checked the site.
